Ill start by saying that i never liked 19 bracket, IMHO it just ****ing sux(for me), i could not play it in BC, could not play it in WotLK and cant play it now, all my 19 twinks ended up being 29, 39, 49, anything but not 19s (i guess i don't like it coz there are almost no abilities and i neither like playing as or against hunters in this bracket)



Lets take it from the top and compare top level pvp and twink pvp for a second.



Xp-off twink bracket is like max level rated BG, in both places you go up against equal geared/skilled players.

Pre xp-off twink bg is like normal max level BG, both places you have differently geared skilled players on both sides.



When xp-off arrived twinks v twink only, i felt like they should have made all max level top skilled, top geared players play only vs equally geared/skilled. Coz that would make sense, you separate the best from the rest at low level you might as well do the same at max level. And so they did with rated BG's

BUT max level bad ass gladiators with item level 500mil. and lightning reflexes can still CHOOSE to qeue up for normal BGs with ppl who just dinged max level wearing nothing but green crap and know nothing of how to play their class and how to efficiently control their character. (But twinks can't, we do not have that choice.)

And no one ever says anything about glads owning newly dinged newbs, coz all you gona get in response is "Yeh you got owned by a gladiator, L2p get better gear."

And you know why? because its actually hard to be a good arena/rated BG player while every @sshole can make a twink.



What the hell can we get out of all this i just said you might ask.

Well just because there are assholes who make twinks it dose not mean that everyone who wants to play a bg with trials is an @sshole! Some of those ppl actually are good, play with a sense of sportsmanship, and are playing for the win not just to kill a few noobs.



SO just because my favorite bracket(49) is out of commission and the only other highly active alternative is 14-19 and 20-24 and i choose the second(coz i hate the first) dose not automatically make me one of the bads!

20-24 bracket is a complete joke.

I completely agree. The only reason to play that bracket is to roll a 24 and own noobs have have no access to good enchants. Since that wouldn't be fun to begin with, I can only imagine that being the level 20 with shit gear and enchants, is less fun that being the 24 completely owning them.



Pointless bracket is pointless.
 
The 20-24 bg is like all bgs used to be before xp switch was introduced, so i guess all twinking was pointless before xp off bgs. But now that we have xp-off bgs now theres actually some kind of point, there is suddenly some kind of a higher purpose almost like religious movement.
 
Actually there was always two types of twinks. The bads that did it to roll lowbies, and the decent people that played for competition against other twinks. I guess we know which camp you belonged to.
 
Gimme a break. Friday night, come home after long work day, log on grab some friends and we are her to win some BGs. On 49 i always ran the flag and i dint give flying f@ck who was in my way in aether directions.

I will never deny the fact that killing 2, 3 or 4 ppl in a row without any help or rest on my 49 warrior was a f@cking blast, it made you feel bad-@ss and power full(and i am not talking about grave farming, wich i dislike).



In my opinion the demographics of a pre XP-off bg is much like a demographics of a chess board. There are pawns who are non twinks, and there are bishops knight rooks and so on who are twinks. Now i don't know about you but when i play chess it never feels as satisfying to kill a pawn as it is to kill a bishop or a knight. Much like it is never as satisfying to kill a nobody who will level out of the bracket and who you never gona see again as opposed to killing your good old rival, that nasty enchanse shaman or ret paladin who is always there to kill you and get the flag back and /laugh at you.



So a chess board with no paws would seem boring to me just as BGs with no non twinks.

I came back to the game 4 days ago and I play with a 20 mage on a p2p acc. The entire reason i made this thread is because i want to figure out wtf is going on on this bracket before leveling the mage up to a 24. I fell like leveling a toon to 24 is an obvious most logical step to making a twink, because lets face it lvl 20 is not a twink its more of a w@nk, it goes against the original twink philosophy. Why em i not 24 yet? Because the morals in this bracket are messed up and filled with prejudice, i would simply feel like a Muslim in Manhattan one day after 9-11.



And another thing. What is a 19 failed twink? failed how?

Nevertheless, it is obvious that a lot of people are so lacking in offline self-esteem (justifiably) that they are reduced to using a a gaming bracket that they belong to to attempt to increase their self-worth.

Actually, there are people who turn experience off vs people who identify as twinks. Twinks tend to be egotistical assholes, such as yourself, who have no legitimate achievements in-game or off, but conduct themselves as if they have accomplished something.



It's funny that you feign being here for legitimate competition. The reason you play wow and interact as you do is because you have no other options. No parties to go to, no attention from women offline, and no future outside of your terminal wow addiction. This is where it begins and ends for you.



I used to beat you up in high school. Go take that out on a level 24 :D

it disturbs me that you care whether or not other people will frown or smile if you make a 24 ... your question should be more like: will i have fun playing 24's .really just wipe your behind with those that fancy themselves so great as to even issue that frown



there are no right or wrongs, no moral authority to adhere to but your own. go make your 24 and just have fun.
 
To be a real 24 you gotta post something in the f2p forums to make the nerds in the f2p forums mad. Then u have passed the ritual to be a real 24.

I actually made this thread to figure out what is going on with 20vs24 since i came back to WoW not long ago. As far as choosing which camp i belong too i had chosen the 24 even before i posted.

Both sides have their own ups and downs, in my case the ups of a 20 do not cover its downs, and because of this judgment its a simple logic to choose the second option.

Wish I would of locked my toons xp at 21-23 because I don't want to be put in the same group as you.
 
rofl im reading this and laughing at all the people who are saying 24s are bad for the bracket... this bracket is just a bunch of 20 huntards with their eyepatch of shame,



Horde needs 24s, like 1/10 horde are twinks and 9/10 alliance are twinks horde needs the 24s because without them they get facerolled by a bunch of s-keying cyclops huntards
