why? you should feel sad for all the bads putting crip on both weapons like you suggested.
if a rogue needs to rely on his target staying slowed from crip poison, and not rely on his his skill at being a rogue with all the cc he has......

yeah, you're right only bad rogues peel. i withdraw my argument.
If it scales is should have the same amount of damage over time (that is what happens when you scale sometime), just less damage per hit. But if I remember correctly (and I probably don't) it is on a PPM, so it will hit the same amount of times per minute for the same amount of damage. Some poisons are not on a PPM, so it is to your advantage to have a faster weapon.
Edit: this does not factor in the interplay between PPMs, weapon speed, and special attacks (SS and BS)
so now peeling means slowing? and here i though peeling was putting enough pressure on heals to where they have to focus on themselves not dying instead of healing the efc. a good fc wont outrun his slowed heals.
so is double icy /double crip a good idea for uber peels dannyg?
