20 Vet Transfer to Account with no Game Time?

I want to buy a month of time on a second wow account now and immediately cancel the subscription so I can transfer a level 20 character I am making on my main account into it when the character is done enough. Does that work if I do the transfer after the second account has lost its active subscription? I don't see anything in the transfer rules saying you can't transfer to an account that has no game time. But they don't have level 20 twinking in mind and I don't want to mess up the process or mess up my work put in.

Your method should work just fine, I have an old Vet account I transfer toons to if I want to do random bgs with them, or i just let my main sub run out rather than paying for a transfer every time

i find they're very receptive of giving the free 2day sub in order to facilitate taking your transfer $

yes you can xfer to an account that currently doesn't have time, but once did (a veteran/unsubbed status account)
i did one very recently

you should be able to transfer from it too

It is possible. But one thing to note is that it will kick u out of a guild if ur in one. Even if on the same realm as the guild, unless u have a toon already on the new account in that same guild.

We were able to guildinvite a player without game time yesterday. Not sure if its been changed or if he was somehow bugged.

Would you guys mind explaining in more detail? I have a week left on my current sub but would love to play my level 20 now as ftp for pvp reasons and no, I don’t use the bramble even though I have it.

yeah you would need to have an existing second account.

Something to note.

I transferred a toon from VET account to main account to finish some gear. This puts a 30day cool down on that toon before you can transfer servers and/or back to the VET account.

Also as Hawk says you would need an alt or place keeper in your desired guild on the VET account so you can be re-invited as transfers kick you from guild.

Also can not transfer with BOAs even if accounts are linked.

They wouldn't let me do this but it was pre shadowlands.
