20 ftp Feral Druid help.

Hello all,

I am playing a 20 feral druid and I was wondering what weapon I should use main hand. I was thinking the heirloom Grand Staff of Jordan, but is there anything else that is better from dungeons drops ect?

You have a few options here:

Impaling Harpoon - Drops from Helix Gearbreaker in Deadmines
Accursed Mace - Horde only quest item. Another viable option
Staff of the Green Circle - Class specific druid quest. This is a great start until you get a dungeon item or heirloom weapon

And last but not least your heirloom weapon:

Repurposed Lava Dredger


These are just a few options I'm aware of offhand. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Pwnadin basically summed it all up, use any of the quest items or drops mentioned until your able to get your lava dredger which is bis for ferals

in line with what everyone said with the BoAs...if you're having trouble getting Iron Man or want to be a dedicated flag carrier, go with the staff...if you like killing crap, get the lava dredger (and transmorg it...its ridiculously huge on anything but a Tauren).

Whats a nice looking item for transmog? The Shadester Mace is pretty big as well.

lava is good for boa but i suggest getting it from DMF because 3500jp points wont come easily
and jordan staff doesnt seem like feral weapon and it is not but it actually does more damage (not dps) but autoattack is better with jordan staff and also has resil
so when i fight hunters or any ranged classes i put on jordan for resilience and i switch to lava when i get close to the hunter

Overall the Dredger is a better weapon, but GSoJ is also a very viable choice, I used it on my feral the entire time and the Spellpower you get from it helps out on Rejuvs slightly, as well as moonfire hits for bigger numbers.

survival hunters fire resistance will be better yes but prefer staff when im getting hit from all the other classes that doesnt use fire
i do have a macro that change to staff when i cast healings and i change back to lava when i cast melee attacks so get staff too if you have extra later

I've tested it and I use the staff sometimes also, usually if I forget I have it on and in the end it's not a HUGE difference whichever one you use I just prefer dat dredger
