Maybe if some guilds on both factions got some partial premades together using some non-OP classes, and encourage the pugs to try out the classes because JUST MAYBE something different might be fun... if might add enough positive feed to get positive feedback in the form of the bracket livening up again.

If the other team is smart, they'll play with classes that can CC, which means magic effects that you can't dispel... without a resto shaman.
But that's not all either. They counter druids, priests, mages, locks, and paladins. You can bring an ele shaman, but their burst doesn't make up for the lack of defensive dispel.
Assuming there are rules to prevent class stacking (in a premade), I'd take a resto sham before I'd take any other healer.

Why do you bother posting about premades or 19s at all?
theres very little cc in 19 premades other than brew master slows, its very difficult for a class to push into there pack and cc a healer(which are standing 40 yards BEHIND the front line DPS anyway) without getting immediately killed because you over extend, cc is pretty much a non factor, its healing through high burst that does matter, making the dispel kinda worthless in a premade, in a pug its great.
but please understand that in a 10 on 10 mid fight there is very little cc and if someone pushes out and attempts to cc a healer he will most likely just get dropped instantly.
