'19's in AB?

I just got an idea some of you might like.



WSG can get boring when it's your only option, and arenas just won't cut it sometimes. Arathi Basin might be a great solution! Now the problem is level 20 is required to queue for this battleground.



Time to put use to your accidentally dinged twinks or make a new one! My idea is to roll 20s and set up premades for Arathi Basin. The rules are that you don't train abilities for level 20 (including riding skill) and that you don't use any level 20+ gear. Not everyone will like this idea, but it might be worth trying on the Blackout EU and Ruin US battlegroups.

Sounds fun, but this would require alot of organisation, strict rules and punishments for infractions and it would also require people to willingly ding their twinks. People arent likely to accidentally ding anymore since they should have their exp off. Still, it might be worth a look if you're able to get it off the ground.
 
It's an idea that would work with good organisation. You just make a new twink and ding it to 20. You don't need to ding any twinks.

One of the worst ideas I have ever heard.
 
The only way this would really be viable is if guilds set it up for games on the PTR; at least then everyone can afford to ding their fully-geared 19's to lvl20 without having to worry about it. Even then it's a logistical pain to try and organize / inforce rulesets.
 
It would be easier to roll new level 20 twinks and allow all level 20 gear and abilities aside from mounts. Trying to enforce anything other than things that are obvious to watch for like levels and mounts might be tough. I would certainly like to see what mages could do in AB. They would have blink, Mana sheild (i think) and the ability to slow fall from LM.
 
Interesting idea but very hard to implement. I do think eventually 29's will make a comeback though
 
It was done a while ago on the PTR, everyone xferred their 19's and dinged 20, then everyone queued AB. I wasn't there, but it sounded like it was fun.
 
I like the PTR idea, that would be sick awesome. Problem is getting 30+ people to help since the queue won't pop until you have 15 on each side.
 
What's about a private 19s server with different battlegrounds running for 19s? I never read the private server section and i dont know much bout it, but mb this is an option to realise ab for 19s aswell.

I like the idea, but if it was implemented by Guilds, people would then roll 29s to destroy the brackets. But I'd like to see this happen fun idea! :)
