19Boomkin Dps

ofc its viable, boomkins do sweet burst at 19 and can throw out some nice heals. However, ur always gona suffer for mana efficiency, its not a very sustainable dmg'ing class (especially if ur thinking of healing also)

For that reason, its an rare class to see in 19 arenas, and u dont really see many in BG's, but i still recon its viable if u can time ur nuke's and save mana for the right time.

When i did a "Baby Boomkin" build it was nice dps. Im going to estimate that i had 137 SP.

Wrath: Avg 115-125.

MF (glyphed): 50 DoT Ticks

.

Its both viable and fun. But your going to need a shitload of mana, which slotting for is going to kill your hp without the goods (Hat,AGM).

I would also consider that with wrath spec your going to put out more damage in a shorter time. conserve more mana and also allow you to spec into natures focus for survivability. Also if your up against a priest it's good to have another way to put out dps (dispels). I dont know your level of skill but its so glass cannon that i doubt it will work, much mana is spent putting out damage and staying alive at the same time. I would suggest going BiS ie.(Starting w/ 22 int & furbolgs, Dignified headmasters with sp for max damage.)

Rejuv glyph is probably the best choice, i have been rolling with HT glyph cuz hunter burst was just retarted, but it sucks for conservation. More hp would solve that.

I havn't gotten the Fishing hat or AGM (x5 atm) to see the full potential of the cannon set but yea, boomkin is much fun and i recommend it.

Ultimately boomkin or not, Druids win by using the wide array useful ability's.

genesis is a fail talent. Starlight wrath, natures focus and moonglow are all much more usefull. If you want more dmg then put 2 points in 4% wrath crit chance.

I did a short bit about wrathspam specs in my druid guide if you wanna read it. The guide is still floating about in the user submitted guide section atm.

Wrathspam does work. ATM you can get your wrath cost down to about 38 mana and your wraths hit for anywhere between 100 and 125 dmg, which allows you to stream dmg pretty effectively. It does work well in arena i find, even if you dont have glyph of wrath, it has great healing capabilies since its essentially a resto build with a little more SP and hit rating.

Yo, since a boomkin maybe you should get some [item]Shadow Goggles[/item] instead of lucky fishing hat. Because you arent a FC, youre gonna be a boomkin, you need most int.

gj noobietwink! and yeah due to the lack of mana efficiency it might be more worth grabbing the goggles, though it means losing either 9 crit rating or 7stam instead.

Woah! never take shadow goggles instead of fishing hat! the ratio between stam and int is appauling. If you want to sacrifce some stats for int then use mindthrust bracers or TBJ. I appreciate that you're going for a high SP build, but i think you have have taken it slightly too far and using 5/5 eagle legs for instance would probably be a good idea :)

LFH and [item]shadow goggles[/item] both have a time and place. Also, baby boomkins are soooooo mana inefficient its crazy the mana is really important. Of course you should roll with both.

yeah but 15 stam vs 5 int (spirit doesnt cut it) is horrendous. If you need more mana then use items like mindthrust, tbj, talbar mantle, stats to chest, even engineers cape if you have BoA staff, but honestly there are far better places to gain mana than taking shadow goggles.

If you dont have fishing hat and its a toss up between tinted and shadow it becomes more acceptable.

yes do this and you'll have a great time. dont forget 22int wep jst because u wanna do dmg. with an extra 10 casts that do ~15 less dmg than spellpower wep you'll still alot more dmg overall than starting with just spellpower wep. have fun! strong build

Ok but kore if you were a mage would you only have 5k mana and a crap load of health?

Im all for gearing up for mana, but do it sensibly, exchanging 9stamina for 7 intellect is perfectly acceptable, but exchanging 22 stamina (fishing hate plus mining) for 5 intellect is complete lunacy

Exchanging green tinted goggles for shadow goggles can be good in certain situations however.

But he needs as much mana as he can get. But heres my aunts boomkin [char=Twisting+Nether]Anolara[/char] she just hit 80 and she isnt finished yet though

The World of Warcraft Armory

Talents that would be best to start with. (94% pushback prevention on Wrath, 1.5 sec Wraths, only mana efficient talent in moonglow)

Genesis is a very mediocre talent - even @ 80 with IS and MF, it is never taken.

Imp. Moonfire isn't bad, depends on personal preference. It all depends on how much time you are running around spamming MF instead of standing and casting Wrath. Sadly, in 3.2, MF is 24% of your base mana while Wrath is 13%.

Moonglow 3/3 is worth 10mp5 when spamcasting wrath w/o haste, 22mp5 while spamcasting MF @ 19. Since people seem concerned with the mana pools, saving at least 10mp5 when there are really no effective dps or survivability talents available. If you don't have mana issues, then move some points to Imp Moonfire for a little more pop.

Imp MotW (for obvious reasons) is another garbage talent @ 19 (2 talent points for +1 to all stats, 26 additional armor).
