hit rating is cool,. but i expect people not to be truly in need of capping it.

i mean 9% is great and all, but 5% is the soft cap and its all there really is a need for.

i think the rest is just throwing away for nothing.

i completely disagree

and you can hit cap with over 300AP, my chardev'd warrior has 311AP, 11 hit

its no big deal >.>



whatever % hit you get translates to that same % dps

meanwhile, if you gear for a mix of the both (not capped), while your damage per hit will increace, your overall dps, and utility, will go down.

missing charge stuns, throws, rends/hamstrings, even just white hits/HS, will gimp you more than gearing for cap and hitting for 1, maybe 2, less damage per hit

all twinks besides healers-duhlol-should be hit capped imho. I'm redoing my failsuace huntard and going to attempt hit cap on my healadins dps set.

Max burst ret pallies don't hit cap, before BoA's noone was hit capping and I don't think it makes a huge difference now. warriors may be an exception.

I dont get why people think getting hit gimps AP. You lose like 16-24 ap for hit capping a warrior (less if you have BoAs)

hit cap on pally will probly only be w/ BoA ring when it comes out. I hardly to never dps on it, its healing built. You can still miss after PvP hitcap, but it still makes that chance insanely slim. Imagine just a white strike missing on any melee class or a avg. spell on any caster. Thats a lot of dmg gone too waste. I've gotten the grab on a flag from having CC's miss me on many occassions.
