19 Warlock - Imp or Voidwalker?

Funnystrike

I have a purple name and i like it
Wich Minion do you guys use /will use in pvp? Right now, i mostly use Imp because i dont have much Soul Shards from Wpvp (allways forget to use Drain Soul-.- ). But i think in WSG i will use void for the Bubble. Whats your Opinion?

I only ever used voidwalker for arena back in tbc and imp for everything else as far as i remember!

While the bubble is pretty OP, the imp puts more pressure, have one of the most important buff for your party and have phaseshift / range. I say imp. But if you see you never get heals, take the VW. Especially at 19, you will go down quickly.

I am going 29 on my lock though, but it's more or less the same thing at 19.

I'd suggest void for BGs since the bracket is mainly made up of rogues and one ambush is gonna leave you in a world of pain. Not to mention that spell pushback from dual wield + instant attacks and you'll never get a fear off before you die unless you're tanky AF. With the void you'll be able to sacrifice and get a fear off.

For open world PvP, you could go either way, however, the imp has far superior dps. The only catch with this is that with chain fears, your target often times runs out of range of the imp so it has to cancel casting and chase after it and often does so a couple times before landing the next fireball.

Im also playing warlock at 19 and i think both have so many benefits. Imp is the only ranged pet at 19 and provides blood pact. VW sac is extremely good since warlocks are somewhat squishy if geared for +shadow dmg. I think its totally situational but i will most likely be using imp more then VW just because i trust my healers. Would love to shoot some ideas off you, hit me up on bnet: JarrTET#1773

Literally imp for fire sheild buff and never again. Void is better in every situation. Your imp will die immediately Everytime it comes out of phase shift.

Out of all the warlocks ive killed so far, none have stood a chance 1v1, but im an optimized rogue with pvp trinket and agm. I will say, the ones who stood any sort of chance at all, had Void bubble.

Christ... Trinket AND Agm... they really never stood a chance.

I've always been a bigger fan of Voidwalker.

The Imp's Fire Shield and Blood Pact is nice, but it's so squishy (especially in Classic compared to private servers) that it's so easy to lose its buffs.

The Voidwalker is nice and tanky and its Sacrifice shield can be used when you're CC'd which is amazing. The pushback protection is also amazing for getting an almost guaranteed Fear off in tons of situations. The fact that it can melee is also amazing for destroying Tremor Totems while you cast Fear and putting constant pushback on enemy casters. The Imp can do this too, but it ooms super fast unless you refuse to upgrade its Firebolt.
