Also, if you ever find yourself with a healer following you around, it might be worth it to get a Smite's Mighty Hammer with +30 SP for maximum judgment damage.

Not entirely true. Although +30sp is a safe bet, there is a point where ap will outscale it from an offensive perspective. The damage from your judgements takes 16% of your ap AND 25% of your spellpower. Lets take 2 examples, one paladin has 300ap and 0sp, the other 200ap and 50sp.

Paladin 1: 16% of 300 = 48 extra judgement damage

Paladin 2: 16% of 200 + 25% of 50 = 44.5 extra judgement damage

Even though sp may be better in some cases, the higher your ap gets the harder your judgements hit. It scales better than sp for offense because it affects your white damage too which is your PRIMARY source of damage. Smites with sader or +15 strength would be better if you are already gearing for strength or ap for offensive purposes.

This is true, but I was thinking of pretty yellow crits :D

I like big numbers too once in a while ya know...

I would also like to add (for the above reason), for anyone thinking about getting glacial stone or runic darkblade for their pally, that smite's would probably be better because the +STR increases yellow damage as well (making it overall about equal damage), and it doesn't eat up your XP to attain it.

Hey, thanks for all the feedback guys, its been a maasive help also that ap/sp scaling was very intresting thanks for posting that, as i said earlier i love to do damage but being able to heal and nicley is very important as i am a more arena orintated twink and also premades soon so il need to be able to do my nice bit of burst damage but then get some heals off, so sp is really nice for me and will be rolling with about 60 of it in my main gear but as it seems now, il have to start work on changing my offenisive DPS gear. Thanks alot Twinkinfo, youve been a massive help.. One last thing I GOT MY AGM TODAY /CHEER :]

Grats dude, and yeah I was about to mention that about the +30 sp comment, sader would be your best bet for a burst/dps judge build on smite's mighty hammer. When sader is up you'd be gaining +200 ap which would affect your judgements for it's duration more than a static 30 sp. Unfortunately AP has nothing to do with your capability to heal. ;)

Thanks bro, agm is op ;]. But back on topic, Glacial Stone v Smites for a dps build, i have both. Also arctic buckler v redbeard crest for main gear, i dont have arctic yet so id have to eatt some xp for it.

I'd take smites over glacial for the added AP which will affect your judgement damage, but glacial is damn nice as well, you might as well snag up both and test them out and see which you prefer. I've said this before, but generally I prefer a little faster weapon on a lower level pally because all you're doing is auto attacking, whereas glacial on a warrior with overpower and heroic strike makes more use of the 3.8 attack speed.

I made my pally back in the days of stamina stacking (a lot of twinks were made during this time) back then I thought gold plated buckler (link isn't working) was the best with +7 stam enchant.

I switched to red beard's becuase it has more armor than gold plated but arctic is better due to the amount of armor it gives. I guess you could make an argument for the 6 str on red beard's as it would contribute to block, but go with arctic if you can afford the XP.
