19 shaman help

Thottbot sucks.

There are 3 glyphs you can use - Flame Shock, Healing wave, Stoneclaw Totem. Its good to have tons of glyphs to change them for arena, wsg, pve.

If you have access to BOA you should pick Devout Aurastone Hammer without any doubt.

And drop some spd in case of stamina, 1000 hp is too small for shaman. You should be about 1300-1400 in leather with 80-90 spd unbuffed, that is much better than 1000hp in cloth and 120 spd.

"19 shaman" and "help" are not two phrases that need to be said together nowadays.

just shock them 'til they're dead.

GW if they try to run.

GW if you need to run.

Fail proof plan, I promise!

My exact thought..

On my shaman, however, I like to have the Stoneclaw Totem glyph - this is for WSG (pug).

For arena I suppose the Flame Shock glyph could be good for bandage ticks and shit. Depends on the setup I guess.

It looks like a pretty decent build to me. I've been playing shamans for 12k hk's and it looks to me like that set could work very well. For glyph I HIGHLY suggest Glyph of Stoneclaw Totem. That glyph, imo, is Best in slot for anything except for lolPvE.

The one thing I would recommend changing is your spec. I know that you're trying to go for a little more crit but with only 1k health you're going to need to have quicker heals in order to keep yourself alive. until you get your agm or lifeblood rank 3 I would definitly spec 3/5 into Imp Healing Wave instead of the 3 in Thundering strikes.

Other than that, Have fun on the most OP class in the 19 bracket these days.. :p

EDIT: As for cloak enchant i would go with 15 nature resist because of all the other wind shearing shamans running around these days.

15 nature resistance? :'( I would be more worried about their flame shock or frost shock (FROST SHOCK!!!!!!!) And I dont find many shamans using earth shock on other casters.. Because that's just stupid, so i would find Frost resistance more viable, Wind Shear doing no dmg, and Flame shock, get a fire resistance enchant :O Be flame retartend.

He was saying use the 15 nature resist to lessen the chance of a heal interrupt from wind shear...Frost shock? I'll just assume your a troll and not bother.

Earthshock still does damage, and nature shield, and earthbind is still effective.

+15 nature > +15 fire

Yes but what i was saying, a smart shaman doesnt really use Earthshock against another caster (Shaman in this case), because the speed reduction of earthshock is minor compared to the DoT of Flame.

15 Nature Resistance is a MUST against other shamans.. and even in wsg it helps alot. I find myself resisting Earthbinds, Windshears, Entangling roots, and lots more.

EDIT: Btw do some research.. this is the 19 bracket, shams dont have frostshock..

Yeah, To be honest I would Spec 3/5 Improved healing until you have more HP other wise your heals are going to be way too slow to keep you alive, or avoid interupts.

And Stoneclaw glyph cant be beat to be honest, its like a mini AGM that can keep you up for that little bit longer. Also its a great way to start a fight if a rogue has got the jump on you with a sap. dont drop an earth bind straight on him, once he garrotes or ambushes, drop ur Stoneclaw, then instantly drop an earthbind, so he will be slowed, and you will have a protect up.

I also couldnt more highly reccomend a + 15 nature resist on your cloak.

Due to the rediculous amount of new LOLSHAMANS in EVERY bracket because they want a piece of the Ghost wolf action, it will help you resist their shocks, binds and Lightning shields.

The majority of these new twinks are bad anyway so if you follow the help on this forum you will roll them.

GG bringing back an old thread. About your comment, if a shaman is in a hurry about killing someone and not worried about mana efficiency he is for sure going to earth shock while flame shock is ticking. It does 3 times the initial damage as flame.

Also, GG me for not knowing about stoneclaw glyph. Though idk if I would be bothered to use it for just a 232 shield when you can drop earthbind and get away.

You dont use Earthshock vs other shamans?! It does more dmg than flameshock if flameshock is already up and its cuts their dmg output since they swing at you with FT weapon.

I consider my shaman perfect without BoAs and fishing hat. Ofc i have vitality on arctic, 22 int on evoc, and 20 spi on both evoc and RE all for weapon switching.

Other items you can switch out for more stam on my char are gold-flecked->4/4eagle, 3/3 eagles or 6sp wranglers with 9stam.

I prefer 70 armour for my cloak enchant, it mitigates physical dmg rather than spell, and since most of your incoming dmg will be physical 70 armor comes out tops.

My shammy is [char=eu-Bloodfeather]Shurka[/char] plz ignore the 29SP to wep, i have a 30sp sitting in my bank for my BoA wep when it turns up :)

If you are not draenie use smites reaver. Edit: also if Horde use inferno with 150hp and deadskull with 7stam

http://www.chardev.org/?profile=314428 - perfect dps shaman as far as im concerned. Completely hit capped, best race, >1.5k mana and hp with starter weps out and 9mp5 and 115 spell dmg with SP weps out. Wrynn and sylvanas are interchangeable, as are a few more items for stat preferance.
