I do. It's not really overpowered at all. Pretty hilarious to force BS rogues to use sinister strike with their dagger equipped when I meet them.

If you find someone who is good enough to avoid, why not just backstrafe away swap to swords and dig in?

Obviously they should, but dagger wielding rogues seem to not know about this cool feature. Or they clinch to their daggers yelling "DAGGERS ARE GOOD, DAGGERS ARE GOOD" while they try to avoid and ignore all facts about swords being more efficient.

Tried it. Got a AB with +5 damage and a full dps set. The numbers were sweet alright, but it was extremely annoying because of the high energy cost and people hiding their back. >.<

1) Backstab HAS a function, but for most it gives so much trouble it's best to leave it out.

2) Dual 15 agility is only good for RvR.

3) I like the spec, might try it some time. I take it you play WSG?

4) I jump on my target, stealth and garrote within a second, wouldn't call that much of a slow-down... but no you shouldn't be stealthing in mid-field waiting for people to come to you.

5) If you miss and eviscerate you don't lose your combo points, no worries.

BoA Shoulders + BoA Chest + BoA bow = 11 Hit (hit capped).

This will allow you to use the Belt of the Fang with the Nimble Leather Gloves giving you a nice total of 8 expertise rating which is 15 expertise (-3.75% chance to be dodged or parried). I think that will be the best combination if you have access to BoA gear with patch 3.2.



As for a spec using 2 swords (shadowfang+thrash blade in my case) I would go for 2/2 Imp SS (with glyph) 3/3 Imp Evis and 5/5 DW spec. If you don't have a hard hitting offhand (shafowfang/thrash blade/cruel bard not sure about the bard thou) you might want to change 5/5 DW spec.

Don't forget about the Venerable Mass of McGowan (look up on Wowhead PTR site) - nice stats.

Honestly, he sounded so confident when he posted that macro, I had to test it just to make sure the GCD applied to thrown weapon swapping.



It does.



So swapping from bow to thrown = 1 sec GCD + .5 sec cast = 1.5 seconds. Same as shooting the bow.

Why even think about swapping weapons just to break a bandage? [ITEM]Magic Candle[/ITEM] is instant-cast and doesn't require a ranged weapon slot. Now you can keep your BoA bow or whatever and not care about how long it takes to cast.



Plus, they're hilarious to farm because the Kobolds say "You no take candle!" and then you take it anyway.
