EU+US 19 Rated Lounge

There is a talk about some very important people in the 19,20 and 29 brackets plan to make a rating list to spike activity into this forum.

I think the next big update to it will be arts idea on scraping guilds for characters, atleast we will be looking into that, but ye seassons arent a bad idea at all. We also spoke about giving "Trophy" icons out for each seasson to like top 3 on the ladder or something, but will take some time.

You know if skirmish seasson ends at the same time as arena seassons? I guess so, but unsure
 
I have to admit this is pretty cool, this rating and what not. But I feel like it has started to ruin skirms because people group queue and will run the strongest things possible such as warrior disc, feral disc, boomy disc, BM disc, etc. Yes they can queue whatever they want but it just ruins the fun for people who solo queue. In a way it kind of forces you to get a partner for what is supposed to be casual fun to queue the strongest thing you can play instead of what you actually want to play. Yes I know I can just not queue, but for those who want to queue every so often and get farmed by comps just because of class carry kills the enjoyment of queueing. There are many ways to look at this and this is my way.

Agreed... I fear to solo que cause i am bad and can't carry these non geared lvl 17s

I agree. Solo queue hasn't been the same since the implementation of the ladder, but I really enjoy the call for competition. It also makes arena more active in a sense, plus smacking the occasional random just loses its fun over time. With that being said, you shouldn't let the ladder "control" you. If you have a competitive mindset, and actually want to go for some top spots on the ladder, I understand you, but if it's fear of bad placement in general, you definitely shouldn't let it get the best of you. Because when it comes down to it, most people will know if you are a good player or not, by just having played you a few times.

Yeah, I honestly haven't touched 19 arenas as much now bc of that and just the fact that you rarely get partners that know what they are doing. But I mean hey we all have queued some type of scum since this came out. I recently did war disc, but I did literally 3 games and I couldn't bring myself to keep playing. Most may say that is a scum comp but me and HB (the chase duo) beat that shit as a ele / disc (the fact I play crit stacked ele too... EleGiggle)
 
The arena ladder is a cool concept, but doesn't give chance for people to play whatever they want. They can only queue the strongest comp to think of even getting high on the ladder.

No arena ladder allows for any comp to be at the top, that's just how it is. Play whatever you want if you just want to have fun!
