19 healer druid.

So I just won a bid on staff of the blessed sear for 50g and I don't know what to use it for. So I thought I might make a HORDE twink. Meaning I wont be able to get BoA and have to send enchant scrolls and stuff over neutral AH.

Lately I've been making alot of twinks since it's so quick to do. So this druid will be like that to. Meaning no furbolg, fishing or AGM. Just a standard recently dinged 19.

I'm doing this because I want to tryout alot of twinks and find out what is me. Atm Im drooling over warlocks, but shamans really bring lots of power to. Now I want to try druid healer. When I find out which one it'll be, I'll transfer my main and level 70 enchanter to that server all the twinks move to.

chardev.org v6 ~ a World of Warcraft character planner

This is the gear I think I can get rather easy. Will make an DK on my friends account and boost with that. Wont get multiple gear sets yet. As said its just for trying out what twink I want so will get the gear on the twink Im gonna make on the new server.. If my twink is gonna be druid, it's main gear is gonna be healer.

So comments please? Never been horde twink before ^^

not enough mana imo.

get 22int ona TCS and then swap out to STBS with spellpower when you've used up your extra mana, i personally found int and spirit > spellpower as far as healers go, yeah seeing 600 lesser heals are nice and whatnot, but not really needed with the hp nerfs.

get an int/regen set for typical fighting and then for debuffed FCs a SP one, where bigger heals are required. but then again, that won't be for much longer.

Thanks for the input. You are proberly right, but I just want to try out the druid healing thing, so the gear has to be expendable. But would you recommend 22int over 30sp and go to 96 SP and 1399 mana?

Moovit has a very nice set, aside the no headpiece

looking at your chardev: having a twisted chanters or boa with 22 int really helps, that is, if you can afford it. talbar mantle and the PVP cloak are good alternatives. remember that heals are not affected by hit rating, so spidersilk cape isn't necessarily great for healers. also, jutebraid gloves give you two more armor

Looking at your chardev link your gearing is almost the same, faction and fishing gear aside as my freshly minted Druid (Bitt). I had the same query regarding Twisted Chanter's Staff VS Staff of the Blessed Seer and Mighty Intellect VS Spell Power. I was aiming for about 100 spell power, so I settled the issue by looking at which combination provided more useful stats: TCS + 30 SP.

re. hit rating for healers

It can be argued hit rating is redundant if you are healing, which is fine in a more controlled situation like a raid. In a BG however, chances are you will need to use offensive spells like Entangling Roots in order to maintain a safe healing range and to assist your healing target.

Your lack of HP is the biggest problem. Get leather eagle set : 5/5 pants, 4/4 gloves and 3/3 bracers. That gives you more stamina/armor and gives you some chances against shamans... Keep that cloak because you don't want missing roots. Tree bark is also a viable choice. And try to find spirit staff, you will be switching that alot.

That chardev set works in PuG wsg when you're sitting behind lines and healing without rogues/warriors/shamans interrupting you. But they will like to target you 1st and so in WSG I recommend you to use eagle set.

Basicly that. Depending on what your planning to do with that druid, your hp is way too low.
