19 Bracket dieing?

When ever I think about reinstalling WoW, I just come to the forums and you idiots remind me why I quit in the first place.

ROFL wow your going to blame hunter's for the 19 Decline....your retarted no offence :) have a good one"

Hahahaa.... "retarted" and "offence" when calling someone else stupid (or stoopid) is just... delightful.

Personally, I feel that if we play our cards right with Cataclysm's Guild Leveling and the related Guild BoAs, we could potentially see a revival in Twinking popularity where reviving a bracket on any battlegroup could potentially be as simple as leveling up one guild horde side and one alliance side guild to access the Guild BoAs, get DKs farming enchant mats and then go from there to create two competing twink guilds on a single BG that can support one or more brackets, especially if they schedule premades regularly... not to mention that Endgame Guilds will also grant BiS or near BiS twink gear just as a side bonus and we could find ourselves flooded with PuG Twinks from these guilds on their Off Nights... or just as likely we could see XP On brackets being flooded by leveling twinks to totally defeat the purpose of separating the Twinks from the Non-Twinks in the first place.

Also, Hunter Kiting ability will likely take a big hit though their burst will see a boost, it should certainly shake them up a little bit and maybe make them a little less OP than they currently are so it could be a bit friendlier on players.

ahh i thought it would be the opposite effect, with focus wouldnt burst be harmed? since they could lose the ability to chain attacks on, e.g conc--arcane--serpent. However with enough energy for a conc shot ktiing shouldnt be that much of a problem. All in all i guess ill just wait to see how cata turns out

Made this thread for people to express their opinions, and you just throwing an insult, while somehow squeezing in "no offence" just fuels peoples rage.

Your opinion is worthless, and should leave WoW after you hit puberty.....no offence. (see what i did there=O i so witty.)

But hes not all wrong is he? Your most probably US where this isnt much of a problems, but eu blackout did seem to be undergoing this phase, havent played recently but was in this state when i left, with a few good oldschool twinks also debating to leave.

I was not trying to be mean i love all people who care for the 19 twink community, i just had no other word to explain my dissagreement at the time. :( u did not have to act liek a child...sorry if i offended the guy who hates hunter's.

ets dos daymn huntards liek twinkytoez dat i juz cent seem to ween uhgenzt cuz dare s and e key-eying is juz tu gr8 fer meh.

The 19 bracket will not be dieing anytime soon. Players talking about starting it up in more than one battlegroup are the ones who are trying to kill the bracket.

Lets try instead of using a Conc and a Serpent, lets go with say Mult-Multi-Arcane... even 3 Arcane Shots would be a notable upgrade in burst damage over Multi-Arcane + Serpent DoTs.

Cata may be the death of twinking? talking to a player who got to test goblins and worgen at blizzcon, and asking him some questions

goblins most racials of any class, rocket belt only real PVP noticeable racial, 1% haste bonus too small

worgen > goblins, 2% increased damage is noticeable, and worgen sprint racial > rocket belt. seeing how WSG is playing at 19 with current abilities having all classes of worgen with the fastest sprint in the game will be game breaking. i will definitely swap my HU rogue to worgen if Blizz allows that race change

the game totally being revamped sounds awesome to me, but i don't think it's going to bring huge numbers of new players into the game or canceled subscriptions reactivating. also having to buy a game along with 3 expansions doesn't sit well for most gamers who realize even as it is now they will never catch up.

i wouldn't say the 19 bracket is dieing it's just that some people get sick of twinking or bored of it and most of them take break's like me really haven't really played my twink for about 2months but i will be back some time like others they always come back

Our primary concern in this thread I believe would be its effect on twinking. The game itself will see a huge overhaul in some of its core mechanics, talents in particular... if they make the early game experience is improved, we could see an increase in the playerbase by virtue of less people leaving before level 10.

this may not be the case it may be that lvl is extremely boring which is why BOA was added but 20 percent extra exp isnt gonna help when u need to lvl from 1-85 or 1-80 then PVE is what WoW is about and with BOG (Bind on Guild) adding in cata this may cause an unfair advantage in twinks who dont PVE on their 85

Anybody really understand that last part?

I think cata will bring in a lot more activity. New races and mostly (for me) the fact that spells will scale with level will be awesome. Just a few examples would be FB damage buffed, wrath damage buffed, and backstab damage buffed, along with paladin heals.

Damage from spells will see a nice buff from int and SP changes I think... most notably CC Mages... and the rank system will buff pretty much every attack since the highest level requirement on any available rank right now is 18. Something I'm interested in seeing however is what they plan on doing with spells with cast time increases between ranks, as well as Multi-shot which presently has no damage modifier, but provides one at later ranks.

Isnt the higher rank of sap also able to sap people in GW + Travel form? I could have sworn I got sapped by an 80 rogue on my druid while in travel form.

I think this bracket is dead right now, but it will probably pick back up this summer.

I have almost quit pugging lately. Some of that is not by choice though. After 11pm CST, I am seeing ZERO games in progress than I used to. When I get done raiding, I want to play a pug or two and find that there are no games happening. That really sucks. Last night I did get into a couple though.

I guess raiding on my main and premades are about all I can do these days and even the premades are getting thinner now.
