10s Armory/Chardev Library

I am aware of that, but since this thread was made to help newcomers gear up I'm not including any gf'd gear at all, not even if it was available at 10 in the beginning of cata.

Thanks though!

Edit: @imbaouge, yes, 2 agms is best for human, but for night elves the insignia is best. Actually, the insignia increases your resilience with ~10%, meaning it's actually better than AGM if you have a higher health pool.

Great things to trinket would be frost nova, concussive shot and entangling roots.

Also, a throwing knife isn't the best for a prot warrior imo, since you'll not use it a lot.

Forgot about Silver Scaled Belt

Also I think Balanced Throwing Dagger is the BiS thrown weapon for a rogue over Weighted Throwing Axe but i'm not 100% sure on that one and isn't Stained Shadowcraft Tunic BiS chest for rogues from overall higher stats? I know that the current chest slot has 3 critical strike but the other stats I think can top that by a fair bit

You'd lose 7% crit if you changed it, but the preened ironfeather one might be worth using?

The throwing weps are very equal, changing it wouldn't do a lot.

Would love to see more feedback regarding rogue gear, especially hit.

don't forget intimidation, whn i feel a rogue coming im spamming intimidate, you may or may not get your opener, but you will for sure be dead before you recover from stun unless you trinket.

I don't think BM is too good, same with frost. Pet has too little health, easily 1-hitable, meaning you're lucky if you even get that intimidate off.

well you are talking to a 10 hunter. ive been BM since cata came out after trying the others,

yes surv dps is higher.

BM is pro. my pet rarely dies. and specced into kill command my pet crits for high 3s. WTF 390 crits on instants.

i los and burst with pet whn im outdpsed by ranged, for example mages or timing KC between priest bubbles.

i have gone 1v1 up against all active 10 and 14 hunters, im not afraid and confident in BM spec.

play your own style though i guess. ask people who play against me alot though like healstrong, i play smart rather than just running in bursting then dying. i don't lose 1v1s.

ok so i roll with boa rogue chest, and boa rogue head, giving me 18% hit. i use the boa druid pve shoulders (preened) since it has 3 crit. This seems to give me the better outcome. Having hit is a lot better than having crit, until you get up around 20% hit. White hits are your main source of damage, and i mean like 85% of your damage. Also your poisons cant hit if your white hits miss.

Also being the lowest level of a bracket, you might want to get a bit more hit to make sure you hit 14s as well, no?

yes but having i think 22% hit is hti capped for all white caps, mh and oh. so hit i better than crit imo.

If I use hit helm, shoulders and chest, the rogue lands at 22.18%, still having 1.82% chance to miss auto attacks against level 10s.

You sure the pve rogue shoulders aren't the best then?

You won't have 1.82% chance to miss with dread pirate ring but anywho with +10 haste gloves and 225 skill lifeblood you wont need full hit tbh you may aswell go with the PvP shoulders for survival since rogues health are generaly quite low in the level 10-14 bracket mind i suppose you could just swap them whilst you are in stealth depending on if you're fighting a melee/ranged/healer

Healer - PvE shoulders

Melee - PvE shoulders

Ranged - PvP shoulders

Atleast this is what i'd do though i've not really had chance to play my level 10 rogue too much so before I decide that what i've just said is the best option i'll play about with my rogue
<

did i not say hit form boa chets and boa head, is what i use, with the pve boomin shoulders.... 2 hit is not better than 3 crit, 6 hit or w/e the hit on boa chets is, is betetr than 3 crit on chest.

Alright, updated them with boa chest and druid pve shoulders. Wouldn't pvp be a bit better? You lose 1 crit and 1 stam, but gain 3 resil.

Bumping for more advices and suggestions!

Maybe you could make this into a armory thread like Phonebooks just with chardevs aswell as guides/armorys?

True I suppose you could just ask people for their armorys on 10 twinks and use the only guides up?
