101 question

I have a 101 boomy that blizzard so kindly turned into an extremely expensive paperweight and I was wondering what to do with him now. I made him mostly just because I wanted one and told myself it was to make tons of gold leveling people but then I never really used the toon, just a few times to show off. I'm thinking about trying out pvp on him and was wondering what bracket I would be in? Does the bracket go 100 to 109 with 110's having their own bracket? I just wanted to make sure before I level him. It will really hurt to out level all that expensive Boe gear but It just doesn't make sense to me to twink at bottom of bracket. Is there any feasible reason to pvp at 101?

i think .. if you gear it right .. you will have lots of fun .. now that the ilvl350s are removed from 110 and 111, that bg bracket is not gonna be that big diff between a twink and non twink as the lvl100 can now buy ilvl260 stuff from AH .. on the other hand, in the 100-109 (people said 101-109, but i keep seeing lvl1100 players in the same bg as my 101) bracket, most of the players are sub ilvl130 for 101 and ilvl150 for 109, when you can get over ilvl200 .. that is a big diff, so i reckon 101 is having the biggest difference between twinks and non twinks atm .. your boes gears can be gotten off AH, and look for anything over ilvl199 .. if you cant, settle with ilvl194 is still ok, but once you get over ilvl200 in this bracket you will feel invincible, but they are rare, and they are not cheap .. its not meant to carry people in dungeons, its more like for OPing in bg

I built my 101 about 4 months after legion popped and the pieces were crazy expensive. I think his Ilvl then was 855ish with 19% leech, 19% avoidance and decent speed. I came back after blizz stat squish and bought some higher Ilvl gear to replace some of the lower leech and avoid stuff. It got really cheap after the squish. I think he is at 174 now. 224 seems like a huge jump. Don't think I've ever seen gear over 185-190. But it won't matter anyway I guess. If the bracket is now 101-110 then I will take him to 110. I believe you should always twink at top of bracket. Can someone confirm that the bracket is 101 to 110 before I take him to 110. I could have swore that 100 and 110 had their own brackets.

why dont you start a new character and boost it to 110 ? they gave you a free 110 boost when you buy bfa right ? i usually archive my toons, cos it took so much effort to raise it, those raid players if they had kept their 110, their gears would already been OP in pvp/arena, but most top BIS raiders dont pvp

I just tried out my 101 boomie in a few bg for first time. I'm at Ilvl 176 with 21k health. He felt very strong. I think I will just keep him at 101 for a bit. I ran 4 bg with him and did not see a 110 in one. I'm guessing they still have their own bg. I have never pvp on a druid at this level and was wondering what to gem for? Haste vres crit or mast? Also what enchants for weapon and neck?
