Before you wait too long... only works for 10-60 unfortunately (https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/news/23978153/welcome-back-to-world-of-warcraft) No gear updating level 1s sadly

Made two DHs, at level 8 went straight to chest to get https://www.wowhead.com/item=129192/inquisitors-menacing-eye (1/1 at 10)
if you are F2P would get https://www.wowhead.com/item=129195/vile-stalkerskin-pouch also before starting the 1st quest
did some quests to level 10, making sure i had some open quests. logged out and now the wait.

the gear they start you with is seriously weak, BOAs were ilvl-22, i could 1-2 shot mobs, had like no chance of dying. could imagine if i was subbed and mailed enchanted BOAs to DH
