There is no advantage to subtlety with swords. You still do all the above. The difference is this: ambush and backstab do much more damage with daggers and I hemo does more damage with swords.

Its up to you. You can go mining for 10 stam, skinning for 12 crit, or herbalism for 35 haste (I think). Engineering has access to spell pen enchant to cape I guess and you can use some stuff in BGs. Nothing is required for boomkin really. Personally I would pick skinning because I love crit.

Main hand warglaive with another slow offhand would be good for when you use killing spree as combat. Offhand warglaive is great for subtlety. Two daggers for mutilate obviously. I would probably recommend subtlety for the great mobility and burst.

With the whole agility/attack power system being changed and leather specialization being added, I think mongoose became superior to berserking even in PvE at level 80. Since level 70 agility per crit is much lower, I think mongoose is definitely better.
