If we are talking specific dungeon armor pieces, most people will just use the dungeon finder if the piece can out-right drop for them from the boss. And for legacy loot, most people with a group will only do it if they want a piece of armor or something that does not drop for their class...

I would have to see again, at least while healing myself outside and inside of combat seems to do more than the tooltip would suggest, and the increase would correlate with my roughly 20% mastery. Though I do agree I wouldn't go out of my way to stack it

Yeah the Holy Paladin mastery is usually either amazing or not that noticable. One advantage of it I suppose is that (If I am not mistaken) you always receive the full benefit from it if you are casting on yourself (since duh, you are an entire 0 yards away from yourself).

I personally would not use the Prot artifact as Holy. As much as having survivability is good, Hunters will output large damage constantly no matter what, and plenty of the damage sources from Hunters (Mainly DoTs) are not blockable/reduced by armor. As such, I think you are best off to just go...

I don't know, I don't think I am bad, but I wouldn't call myself a top tier twink I try not to put myself over mid-tier whenever possible :thonk:
