I started my pure f2p-char in 2015. So I had to deal with a skill cap of 100 all the time. I managed to get the rat and all the fountain/coin achievements with this skill cap. I bought some doughnuts from the darkmoon fairy which helped a lot. Btw: Grats on the turtle!!!!
