Yup it's a DPS loss overall but using it on my not well geared dk, it's a lifesaver plenty of times, it absorbs about 130 damage from each hit, which is higher than most dungeon mob damage, and effectively makes you invulnerable for 10 seconds, definitely worth looking into if you like to pull...

Essence of Gossamer as a trinket is also pretty insane on this class and bm monk. It procs fairly often and blocks a good amount of damage PER hit during it's duration, if not completely mitigates damage for it's duration.

Def feels REALLY awful on classes that cannot sustain too well. Especially my mage, if ooze doesn't proc, I'm dead, I can no longer burst them down fast enough after Alter Time full heals. Warrior still smokes everything :D
