You need the heart FIRST for it to even show up as azerite

The ilvl changed, the stats look the same, you can still buy and equip it though

When you make the character you get a choice of noob island or the wandering isle. It looks like you're still neutral bc you cant use the heirloom mounts for example. But I havent done the quests to see if you get to pick or not

They make you pick the panda faction at character creation screen. After you make your character a menu will ask you if you want the OG starting zone or exiles

Nah gems still have ilvl requirements except the brand new shadowlands gems atm

I need 1 more singing blue crystal in classic then i can log over and check That's the only epic I believe I have so I can't check other stats but if you compare it to a non epic cape it has the same stats
