I dig this idea. I already have toons in 39s, 49s, 70s, and 80s, so obviously I'd prefer one of those, but this could be pretty cool to build up a bracket community to ensure people are still getting games. I think 49s and 80s are among the most balanced brackets around, so I'd argue for one...

Your best bets are going to be the lower brackets--19, 20, 29, and 39--but even some of those aren't going to get games without some scheduling.

@Warglave I don't disagree--but that's going to be a problem no matter what, because some people just suck ;) But as long as people are around to help gear, teach tactics, and be patient, we can hope for some success.

Well, hopefully it'll be like WotLK/Cata 49s, where everyone had characters on both sides, so we could adjust teams and get balanced, competitive games. That was probably the most fun I've ever had playing this game. So we'll see what happens.

@Kaløyan Speak for yourself, you bad. Also, why are you even posting? You self-imposed a lifetime ban for utter failure, and I see the streak of failure continues in your inability even to follow your own rule.

So, in light of the recent announcement, I'd like to know who's planning on sticking around. On the one hand, this makes queuing whenever we want functionally impossible for nearly all brackets. On the other hand, I think most people who were around the last time we had split queues can agree...

Yeah. However, @DigitalChemyst just posted in a 39s thread that it's a confirmed bug. So that's some excellent news.

Well... I'm thinking at this point that one of two things happened: Either A: 20-29 is an exception to the normal rules put in place by today's patch (which... I still have hope was just a mistake or bug...); Or B: people in that BG weren't entirely forthcoming about their XP-on/off status...

Have been in queue for TP at lvl 80 with XP off for 35 minutes now; no dice as yet. Is anyone else trying this? I hope that wasn't a weird fluke or something... or that the guy who was level 24 wasn't lying about having his XP on lol >< But he was complaining about twinks, so...

There was a level 24 dude in the game who said his XP was on.

Correct. There are XP-off and XP-on characters in the BG. That was at 20-29; checking 80-89 next. Will update as I get more info.

Silly idea. Just do your quests and get the best you can and call it good. Be happy if you get any epics. But QQing over losing out on a few item levels here and there on the official forums just isn’t a good look. At all.
