Is it something about mage that makes it impossible to do these kind of high level dungeons? My attacks just miss too often. What other classes are suited for tackling higher level dungeons and which are not?

What about veterans? Gnomes at least are currently able to get to 240 (225 for non-gnomes) engineering level before being unable to learn Artisan Proficiency (min Level 30). Is there still restrictions to this?

Yeah, I am. I haven't really noticed any sort of Level 20 community but I play on Outland EU.

Managed to get all of my fel-gear warforged on my Level 20 Mage after doing a lot of invasions in my spare time whilst watching shows or whatever. Most are at iLvl 35 but the Inqusitor's Wand, Shoulders and Chest which are iLvl 30. I can't complain.

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking of levelling Engineering to 225 as well as learning Gnomish Engineering to crafft the gimmicky items. I probably won't bother with Enchanting as I buy a lot of enchantment scrolls off the AH anyway. Will I still be able to fish if I level fishing over 100?
