Enemy captures one flag. You capture one flag. Game turns into a 20 minute turtle. You lose. I won't argue the 20 minute cap itself. There are pros and cons to it. The implementation however is horrible.

So other people will be able to fulfill an already casualized aspect of the game -- achievements -- just that little bit easier. I'd say I'm indifferent to that. It's not just a good change, it's a great change. It gives twinks tons of freedom.

It's certainly a by-product of level-cap balancing. They aren't trying to hurt twinks. The speed benefits were to improve leveling times and ease, and the 20 minute cap is something the userbase has been asking for for a while to prevent turtling that max-level WSG suffers from.

People argue about the exact same thing in arenas. People actually argued that in arenas LoS was used cleverly. Granted I won't speak personally for the design's fairness, but I'm amazed at what people will complain about. Terrain obstacles are important. Without them you're dealing with a damn...

The terrain is there to be used cleverly. There's no exploiting here, just a player clever and good enough to use what they have to their advantage. If it's a problem for you, then you should probably learn to do it as well and you'll negate their advantage.

RAM has absolutely nothing to do with process priority. I'm amazed there are people out there that believe the amount of RAM you have is directly related to any sort of processing strength.

That's not how it works at all. It only gets moderately higher priority than normal tasks. Ventrilo and music players and such are simple enough that the lower CPU share won't phase them.
