Has anyone checked to see how the MoP eng helms scale with relics? They have a gem bonus of 3 stat compared to 1 for Cata. Just curious if the gem bonus also scales down. I'm slowly leveling MoP eng now, but don't have a ton of funds on that server, waiting on tokens.

He's using a MoP and a Cata cogwheel I think. Seeing as the 16 scales down to 12 which you can buy from the gnome in the dwarven district. Edit: Actually that vendor sells 2 version of the haste gem. A quick and a precise (old hit). The cata/mop should work seeing as they have different names.

On my 29 priest the dragonling and helm require level 33. Hotfixed or is it just unlucky if you're above a certain level range? Edit: After seeing Blackberryy's post I imagine it's the fact I'm level 29 which bumps my gear into the next level range.
