Bring back the bracket

We've just had one of Skotte's "famous" adventure events and we had few non guildies following us (70s, 80s, etc.) and they actually told that they want to make a 60 twink and join us. So when we make events like this we need to gather where there are a lot people, this way we can show them what we are doing and make them interested. It's not first time this happens for us.

We have few streamers and youtubers in the bracket as well, which is a good way to promote ourselves.
If people can and want to do it, they may record those events or maybe just arenas and such, then upload it on youtube. We've had greats a lot success with our 1 video in PoA.. xD

People says a lot of things. Ppl join for 2-3 days and then they are off.

Need a real push to this bracket with autism ppl that can be some sort of nolifer that will add some real activity to get bgs up

Yea i feel you man.. We need some serious promotions and maybe some more guilds on horde so you arent the only 1 with response ability. Which will make it easiere for the bracket too oragnize shit, if there is 2 huge guilds on horde just as there is on ally, PoA And Classic... If u have any friends who could do this. This would be a huge uplift for the 60 bracket if we could get more casual players and turn them into hardcore pvp players.. Its a long way but in end you have a good feeling about yourself and the bracket..

Speaking for myself:

The only reason I´d play active in this brackets are the battlegrounds, if there is nothing going on here ... like some bg planning, there is no single reason for me idling on my 60s all day ...

I´m only focussing in twink-brackets on the PvP-Part, nothing more ... for now just logging on my 60s ... getting my professions up, farming mc for tf and checking black market for t3.

That`s my goal ... so no need to spend more than 2h/week on my char ... when bg`s are non existant.

So I´d be exactly the kind of player, who would jump in, when there would be some initiatives for getting bgs up ... for the rest: I´m out ... had enough time spended in raids

Should be some french guild, and a german 60 guild on onyxia. They dont speak english so u cant interact with any of them.
No point in pushing a bracket with special queue times when its broken. A guy a few threads ago said something about making restricts for these events and his point is not awful but ppl wont really bare that for long. Im pretty sure that people wants to be free and that they can queue up whenever they want.

Second problem will be that ppl levels away and that will make ppl also make higher chars to show their anger or sumthing. "from the candy mountain " is some good example.

Barmor issue also. There is a lot of small things that makes ppl away from this bracket even if this aint a problem to you. Ppl simply want to build their main dps speccs rather than being forced to go prot warrior for the survival and the same dmg as fury at the same time.

I have been twinking for a long time now. And I must say that after the imperial nerf, the ba isnt that big of a problem anymore.
I almost play melee-only classes and versus a ba you can win with all of them. Its all about dedication.
Gear preventing rules wont fix this bracket (imo atleast).
Loom gear is just as strong. If you play a loomed warrior with enchants and decent dungeon/quests gear you can beat a lvl 60 fully twinked warrior.
Same goes for WoD enchants. Enchants have always been op but you cant ban them from pvp. Yes you can make a rule that you cant use this type of gear in pve but for pvp allot of ppl just want to have a great time, with an easy obtainable gear.

I feel if we could all meet up in one server that will be a huge factor.
Not saying you have to be in ONE spesific guild but just seeing other twinks, having some duels, war games, raids, fun events, competition events etc. will give you allot more to do, and then allot more ppl will stay..

Guilds are promoting from allot of diffrent servers, making new twinks and old twinks who wants to come back confused who to choose. And might just skip the idea or make a wrong chooice.

If we all promoted for ONE server, that would be allot easier and much more fun! A high populated server will be nice as it will bring in allot of more ppl on the server if they see the bracket become active again.

Sorry for my bad english. Idk if my idea is valid at all, but wouldnt YOU enjoy it more if you knew you are on the same server with 99% of the 60 twinks? no matter purpose or faction?..

As for my server (outland) there where ALLOT of 60 twinks running around. But they ended up leaving cause suddenly there was no raid, not enough players, to many rules etc.. obey the rule or leave...
I have raided with Classic and deck me out, and I most say its really fun when the raiding is going on, but after.. I didnt see many active players.. on Classic atealst. (only played there for a small amount of time tbh)

If you think that, you have no idea whatsoever what a fully twinked warrior is.

Min/maxing players with bis or near bis, inc scaling items >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 60 who do a few raids, get some tier items and think their geared > honor pvp geared scrub > heirloom geared scrub

Idk what a bis Warrior is? I had two. Valor pieces etc. Every raid item thats worth keeping and some scaling gear. Full proffesions and so on.. And i also 1 of each melee Class and warriors are easly kited and outsustained if you know what you are doing. Lol.

I'd love to get some regular pops in Random BG's on my 60, but it gets a bit soul destroying sitting outside Ogg waiting for a queue pop for hours on end.

I gave up after a while - now if I log onto my 60 it's to see if I can find a PvP flagged Ally scrub or two in Hellfire.

Don't know if you guys have seen the Project 60 on Chamber of Aspect realm - 1 Horde Guild / 1 - Ally ( hardcore ) guild? Been streamed by Kungen - seems to be massive interest the Horde guild boasts 1K members. If you hadn't seen they are mainly PvE, raiding Vanilla raids mostly in Gery gear !

With more publicity ( Kungen gets about 3-4K viewers streaming 60's ) it could lift the bracket.

It may look like a good idea and very easy to say but there will be 1 MAJOR problem in that, PvE and PvP servers.
Some players will play on PvE servers and others PvP. One like me won't last 1 week on a PvE server and maybe someone else won't last 1 week on a PvP server.

Because of this problem the best solution, in my eyes, would be to have a PvE and a PvP guild, as we have right now.. Paragons of Azeroth and Afterlife (Old Classic, correct me if I am wrong). But what I do not now is, if there are very small guilds around on different EU servers recruiting.

Anyways, Legion will be out sooner or later and everything will change.. I will suggest we prepare ourselves and when Legion is out and everyone have leveled their main to 110, we will start Project "Bring Back the 60s".

Yes, ofcourse there are, quite a lot.

I'm always suprised how Stormscale and Argent Dawn think that they're the only realms with twinks

Before AD or Stormscale went big most twinks were scattered and definitely not all of them were rich enough or willing to transfer (and before that they wasn't even any cross-realm communication!). It wouldn't suprise me if the majority of twinks is still outside of these two realms, since there's like a quarter million realms besides these.

That being said you'd probably need the person who added all the crossrealm raiders from DMO/Classic/Afterlife/Paragons and then check out those guilds, as I don't really know where they're at neither. On my realm (Arathor/Hellfire) there is a twink guild for all twinks, including level 60's <Silent Lergion>, but there was also another guild trying to start up, pretty sure that died off though.

I don't like PvP, so I don't know how people who like PvP will find the idea and I also don't know why you didn't make a new topic for this, but this is what I think, as one of the not-so-many that actually had a 60 twink during TBC;

That idea has a huge amount of flaws;
- Gearing is instant BiS, thus no point to twink.
- Same goes for enchanting and improving, if it all comes from a vendor it's instant, no point to twink.
- PvP would be just people one-hitting eachothers, if I recall correctly.

The "pure gameplay" of twinking at level 60 during Burning Crusade wasn't running around BiS since day-one and one-shotting all raids, it was the amount of effort it took to get BiS. It was about grinding Cobra Scales, completing the Arcanum quests on your main (level 70) or paying other people to do it for you, grinding reputation on your main to be able to enchant/improve your 60 twink further. It was about finding that one person in a high-end raiding guild that had all enchanting formulas from TBC, so you could get Savagery on your weapon or something on your weapon. Getting 35 level 70's to clear AQ40 while you masterlooted everything. I did it to spend the most time possible to come the best possible at that level.

If you get everything handed to you, realm will be dead in a month.

Might be smarter to look for an already existing TBC realm and start a 60-twink guild there.

Still no1 taking intiativ in some big threads about barmor As long as these huge amount of stats on these pieces are availbable on the market ppl will not show up in this bracket.

Its the only problem. Ppl dont care if u set up rules with prevent em from using it.

Im pretty hungry at the moment so im planning to get up some activity going on again, but not more than a player base of 6-8 ppl now.

I quite like the concept of bonus armory..

You might wanna keep those monster sets for your "pve progression"
