BG changes coming in next patch screw 10s

Supposedly in the next patch, Blizz will make it to where players at the lower end of the bracket, will be stat scale leveled to those of the players at the higher end of the bracket when they que into a BG. 10s are fixing to get shafted big time if they do this. 10s will be playing with lvl 14 stat scaling, instead of lvl 10 scaling.
I suggest everyone submit a suggestion stating that Blizz SHOULD NOT implement this for XPOFF brackets. Saying something to the effect that XPOFF players dont need the assistance, and have chosen to play at the level and stats they are at for a reason. Maybe if they get enough messages of this nature we can make a difference. Doubtful, but, its going to be the only option if we want to keep what we have worked for.

In all honesty, Blizz has been working hard to balance out low lvl pvp. With the stat scaling coming in 5.2, thatll probably top the notch and finalize all the problems (apart from 20-24 enchants advantage).
On that note, I personally know that a lot of 20 F2Ps are looking forward to 5.2 exactly because of that feature :p sooo idk if they would go through with it :(
Dont get me wrong though, I totally support the idea though cuz I dont want to lose all my stats in BGs LOL.
 
The way I'm reading it, everything is going to increase including stats. So the 10's should be equal to the 19's as long as it calculates fairly/correctly.

10s would scale to 14s. Any well geared 10 doesnt want to see this.
 
It's cute how EU was included here. As if the EU department from Blizzard ever listened to their players. US is apparently slightly better, but simply put, if it's at the point of being mentioned by Blizzard, it's too late to stop it. Sorry to crush your dreams, but they're crushed.

Also, look at any recent idea from Blizzard concerning low level PvP since the xp lock (that one included). Blizzard hopes to get rid of twinks, so loads of posts on WoW forums would simply reinforce this decision.

Please don't let this stop you. Remember this is only a change that will affect BGs and the exp-exploit no longer works so they aren't really that attractive anyway.
Plus we still don't know for sure how the change will affect us, though it doesn't look to bright. We 10s can still do PvE-events together, wargames, Free for All duels and more!

There is an XP exploit still out there. Ask Xrated.
 
so this wil also definitely count for xp off bgs ?
 
Until you guys stop exploiting and or have non-scheduled games, please don't send in tickets to ruin one of the best features blizzard has implemented for low level pvp.

Well, I did delete my grandfathered rogue a long time ago as I've been getting inactive on him and he was only wasting space. I also forgot he had a Beastmaster's Girdle and a Wingblade when I deleted him. :/ I would ask for him back but he's likely gone considering that I deleted him multiple months ago. I'm mainly an Alliance player, but I did make an undead rogue. I was just about to level him to 11 when I realized I could stop his experience and twink him out with Horde gear, and then faction change to Alliance.

Considering that the stat scalings as it is now in the 10-14 bracket is amazing, Grandfathered items doesn't truly matter as much to 10 and below, as compared to 14, 19s, and so on. Before I got my GF's from a GM, I've taken down GF'd tens before, and although almost every grandfathered items are BIS, in this bracket, that BiS is only going to be like, 1-2 or 3 stats more than the existing in game BIS, and you can easily reach an amazing stat scale without GFs, so GFs, though better, aren't really a game changer and are just there to mainly show off, and scare/intimidate non-GF'd players.

I'll probably twink out my new 10 and faction change him to Alliance once I get BiS Horde gear. :D
 
There is currently no exploit. Any 10 twinks in WSG are carrying and not capping flags. @1 minute the twink/twinks AFK. That is why you do not see them in AB. However, the amount of "BOA" twinks with chanted whites is growing too . . .

What is better:
1) No exploit - carrying and not capping for 19 min?
2) Exploiting - playing the game as "intended."

I am curious about your thoughts on 1 and 2.

3) What most of us do - sit around and wait for an XP off BG.
4. Hope that Bliz merges XP on and Off once again.
 
Made a topic on the EU test realm forums.... and got deleted after beeing accused for trolling and the person called out to others to report me for that when he infact had no clue about scaling :s (Blizzard doesn't even read posts if they are reported it seems to catch some real troll and just remove the posts from players who are legit concerned about 5.2 and its changes)

I really like the idea of the 14 bracket being full of 14's. Player's who have been playing 10's can just level up and enjoy a more balanced bracket which imo would attract new players.

Combining the XP off and on's is not a good idea. The casuals will scream even more about how twiks are ruining low level bg's.
 
Forget about BG's, do World PvP in Westfall thousands of lvl 10-18 easy to kill so fun YouTube
 
Well, what are you looking for in this bracket then?, the koncept of 10 twinks are, earn sick amounts of stats, and pwn noobs??, soloing bosses there is not much else to do.
