guy offering 25k for shadowfang on ZJ

an alliance dk named Maximus (don't remember if it has any special characters in it) has been offering 25k for a shadowfang for weeks on Zul'jin (US). this totally makes me sick to my stomach that i sold mine for 7k when everyone thought it wasn't going to be BIS anymore. :x



anyway, just a heads up if you want to roll an alt and try to find him. i doubt he comes here.
 
dude i am looking for a shadowfang too (never should have sold the one i had arghhhh) and there is no way in hell i am paying 25k lol. this guy is crazy! someone come profit off him!
 
i sold first one for 60 days prepaid time, second one for 19$ and last one for 25$ this month

i never wanted to use one coz i only like caster classes :D

Don't mean to thread hijack but wanted to point out in case someone was looking to buy: I've got 2 on 1 server but I'm not transferring and it's not going to be a giveaway. I really don't need the gold so it'd have to be a remarkable offer for me to give up my investment.

He does have an alt code, there it is. Talked with him for a bit as I have access to a SF on Dalvengyr (US) Alliance.
 
I sold mine for 100g 3 years ago - sadly, I don't have a screenshot. It dropped, had no clue what it was worth, listed it for 100g... sold in 2 minutes. Hope this makes you feel just a LITTLE better.

Here's a funny story from a couple weeks ago. So there's this 19 warrior twink on my server named Pun. So for like 2 months he's been spamming trade, "WTB Shadowfang, paying 500g! Higher than usual!" So I go to him and tell him "I am no expert on what twink items like these are worth, but I know that a Shadowfang sells for 12-18k." He says "Shut up, troll! I know you're just trying to make me mad!" I say "I'm just warning you that the chances of you buying a SF for 500g are about 1 in a thousand." Lawl. Pun is ignoring you.









And to this day he still spams trade :p
 
I remember I bought mine for about 10g back in Vanilla. The term twinking didn't even excist yet. Times have changed. More on-topic I do expect that the buyer wants you to transfer over for that kind of gold?
 
that's like saying "honestly, you can read the time a little faster with this $10 digital watch, so i don't know why you want to buy that solid gold rolex" lol



also i do not know if maximus wants the seller to transfer, but i am assuming so since zul'jin has a very strong twink population. plus i think he's in a raiding guild.
