A lot of geared people Alliance side afk'ed out of this game early on and throughout thinking it was hopeless. Afk'ing in general or sitting out means you don't get satisfying wins like this. I get not wanting to waste time against premades, and yeah there are times when you just "know" that a game is going to be trash and a loss, but sometimes a game is within reach with just a bit of effort and coordination. And of course some good folks can get in and change it completely.

there used to be a few individuals that would do it relentlessly and in a WSG without timers I'd just AFK and do something else.

Don't think so, but could happen. Only tbc has been confirmed, and has been confirmed since launch. Feels like it would be silly to follow the same progression style 5 years later.

How active are the low level brackets? I enjoy 39 but I don’t mind the lower ones. BTW, it seems silly to be that players rebuild twinks whenever a fresh server is launched. Wouldn’t ERA make more sense or are you relying on the extra foot traffic of anniversary levellers to get queues to pop more frequently?

Very active. 29s and 19s have multiple pops a night. Not sure about 39s. It is silly that players rebuild twinks on fresh servers, era had a great population and revival of twinks before fresh was announced, but the majority of the community was uninterested until fresh. There are lots of twinks, not just levelers. Anniversary has been great and will likely carry over into tbc/era. Mop has been exciting as well.
