Hello :p

I was wondering, if you guys had to "solo" the game (and by that, I mean: no trading, no queueing ((nor grouping)), doing all the instances by yourself, including raids and dungeons and locking your experience/level by expansion), which class would you use?

I believe that many of you, by this point, have watched Dangril's Solodan series, where he tries doing the challenge as a druid. I see the pros, specially the invisibility and tanking spec, but as much as these are great, Druid's playstyle is soooo boring (in my opinion), and the lack of weapon choices is very frustrating (no dual wielding, no swords, no axes).

Monk might be my go to, and I am currently trying a Night Elf one, since invisibility is a MUST (there's an invisibility Ring in WoD, but it doesn't work in raids, only dungeons). I want to know what you guys would recommend. By that, I mean: Race, Class, Faction (if it's a neutral race) and level, would you guys recommend starting with the Classic Trio (Classic, TBC and WoTLK)? Perhaps the 35 duo (Cataclysm and MoP) might be a good option, since they have Socketed gear and some great trinkets.

So... What do you guys think? Should I play as a monk? Would you give it a try? If so, which class would you play?

(P.s: I don't want to lock myself in a single expansion, if I'm a level 30 player, I might as well use some Legion or Shadowlands trinkets, since they have great procs and can help me with a few boss fights)

What do you mean by soloing? like soloing raids as well? or just quests and dungeons?

If you are going to try and do everything on your own with no outside help, you might as well just start up a f2p account and do it without having to pay a sub. You'll have plenty of dungeons and profession shuffling to keep you busy.

No raids, but I doubt you will be soloing many of those bosses on your own at 30. I do remember someone soloing at least one boss in Karazhan at 30 before though.
