I think you underestimate how much time you can save by just standing up and walk away after you're done.
People believe it takes time to take a shit, but it's actually the @$$ wiping part that is the most time consuming part. So just skip doing it and don't let your friends be waiting, regardless if it's e-friends or real life friends.

when i was young, i used toilet paper as-is. after years of see-through super-thin tp at college I can't NOT fold it in half before use no matter how thick.
