US Don't play alliance this bracket

The idea that one faction over the other possess such an alarming disparity in skill and field awareness is nothing more than confirmation bias. It would require believing that, 15 years in, some players have never and will never play both factions.

What I can tell you is this: When youre one of two-three twinks on your team, people are going to respond to your attitude and play. If you start off with "oh shit, a horde premade, looks like we're gonna lose" before the gates even drop, your team is going to respond to that. The best games I get are when I go full on, ultra positive try hard. People respond to that, even if its just subconsciously. Sure, we might end up getting farmed. It happens. But I have seen teams of white gear/no gear levelers give twink teams a solid run, especially in spread maps like EotS and AB.

Youre responsible for the quality of your game time. If you're being a grouchy shit bag because youre mindlessly grinding out losses and whining about your teammates gear, then its on you.

Oh great, am I going to have to carry you in yet ANOTHER bracket?

I mean... I like the idea of "positive thinking can provide positive results"... but it sounds like you are hosting a self help seminar and running down the isle while techno music is playing in the background... you just telling some alliance levelers wearing starting zone whites "We are in it to win it!"... is going to maybe alter the outcome of a game 1 out of 1 billion times?... maybe.

I agree that telling people "you are actual worthless ****ing trash and you should try to self-purify with holy fire" is not going to help... but the university of life is often the best school.

This is also not back to the future... how things are right now is all that matters.

Im a coach, professionally, and can guarantee you that team atmosphere and environment are absolutely key to a good performance. Even if that team is a one off pug.

It's not a self help seminar. Its not the "power of positive thinking". Its a proven factor in performance. It's not everything, obviously, but its also undeniably important.

Or you could just keep being an asshole and pretend that youre letting people get an education at the "university of life". lol

Well let me know when you paint the starting alliance locker room yellow and the hordes pink... I'll become a believer.

My main issue with this entire thread is that it is strongly leaning towards "it does not matter how you play, how you gear, or what comps you try to loosely field... its just random that you win or lose and bad/good luck determines your outcome... players come/go/change factions, etc... again, does not matter... just depends on what time of day it is!

That just sounds like the mantra of the terrible.

Weird how twinks will spend days grinding bis gear to a couple extra stats advantage because they're convinced it will impact the battleground but they also think maintaining a positive and productive team environment is some sort of touchy feely nonsense.

Skills/Gear/Playstyle/teamates are game traits that a person can effect... I can also buy a bucket of KFC chicken and prey to it that the game will go well... if it does then I can say and (worse) actually believe that I was blessed by the herbs and spices... does not make it so.

Again, I do not disagree that telling somebody they are awesome is going to brighten their day... but its not going to let them win the indy 500 driving their 2004 honda civic.

Fantastic post, big thumbs up.

I've been playing off & on over 10 years on both factions and you get shitty teams & players on both. Horde have always edged ahead, but solo queuing there's always games when you farm the GY or the GY farms you and only so much you can do as one person to influence the outcome. Time of day will affect your win/loss ratio, but other than forming premades & focusing your playstyle around BG objectives you'll always be be affected by the weakest links in your team. That only stops being frustrating when you resolve to cease worrying about things you can't control.

Horde remains the less-frustrating PvP experience than Alliance though the difference feels magnified when you just lost a game. If you want to fight for the underdog by playing Alliance you should know what you signed up for and expect to be farmed more often and win less often, don't go into it with your eyes closed and act surprised when it happens, then run to the forums to complain about a choice nobody forced you to make, or think playing the less popular side entitles you to extra forum cred.

Ideally faction pops would be more balanced and it can be argued by playing Horde we are contributing to the problem. There's no easy solution because its tough selling people on moving to a weaker faction, usually in the past things shifted when Blizz buffed the racials on one side so all the elite PvPers transferred to that faction. Human was a lot more tempting when Every Man For Himself allowed you to equip a second damage trinket and it won't surprise me if they eventually re-buff it, Blizz makes a ton of cash from faction/race transfers which are part of their business model.

When i played horde and facerolls all Day no one reported me using fragbelt, but now that i am rolling alliance i got reported by horde players for exploting, And blizzard itself remove my engi profession, And as far as i know am the only one that has get a punishment.

Now we know how to get rid of them, take notes twinks.

I can also buy a bucket of KFC chicken and prey to it that the game will go well... if it does then I can say and (worse) actually believe that I was blessed by the herbs and spices... does not make it so.
The problem here is you bought KFC instead of Popeyes. I'm surrounded by heathens!

It's not about artificially fluffing their egos. It's about maintaining a productive environment. I don't really know how to describe the difference to you but you seem hell bent on being obtuse, so I'm not too invested in trying.

Didnt see any of yall in Legion, just sayin

I took a break and unsubbed in legion after blizzard decided that item level meant everything to twinking. It defeated the whole purpose of twinking and probably the worst xpac IMO, but I was active in MoP and WoD and played in 20-24 brackets still have my toons at that level. I play regularly now because the state of twinking is restored and you can choose how you want to gear up your toon instead of focusing on item lvl. Btw who even is your character in this bracket I’ve never heard of you before and I play regularly?

Not really. I haven’t given Blizzard a single penny in years. I would imagine lots of people haven’t. Just purchase game time with gold.

On to topic...
Sometimes people complain about Horde being “bad”. It wasn’t all that long ago we had a similar thread about that faction. That’s why it is in a person’s best interest to have have characters on both factions. Don’t like how the games are going one day on a certain faction. It’s as simple as swapping to your other toon that’s on the other faction for a while.

/cheers

monetarily or virtually you still pay. Always gotta pick straws :p

So you played 24s in WOD and unsub'd when they took away enchants

Like I said...

Unsubbed because the whole purpose of getting Bis was based off of item level and not so much stats which defeats the whole purpose of twinking like I said before. Plus if you’re so unhappy about optimization within a character like a lvl 29 why don’t you play 120 bracket where real skill is tested and everything is balanced. Oh wait you don’t wanna pay a sub but keep coming back to wow like some addicted fiend. Plus I still have never seen you in this bracket.

I don't know, I think the initial thread of this topic is gone.

Playing either faction is a curse and a blessing. Premades are rampant on both factions. I personally have been running with a few people from BH on my AP toon. /shrug

Jajaja premades are common for Alliance. I don't generally see much else premading unless they come from Dalaran or AP.

What's the deal with dalaran? I never knew it was such a popular server until recently when I've seen it pop up on several occasions @CIHC

AP was the original hub for all F2Ps back when it first started @Sanit. I'm not sure what the hype is with Dalaran but after the initial group of twinks either stopped playing on AP or moved back to end-game. Dalaran became the primary hub server wise. Someone from that realm may have more information than I have, sorry Sanit. This is a topic I unfortunately don't have much information on.

I still have literally almost 100 people on my friends list from F2P AP Addon days but, I don't see anyone on. I seen two in the past month.

And are you telling me you don't play but hang around this forum? Talk about addicted...[/QUOTE]

I play regularly and recognize people from this forum never heard of you though. I always see you in discussions but have never seen you in a bg just sayin...

Take it to the BG and fight it out, don't do that nonsense here.
