The 39 Class Tier List

I disagree with this. There is no doubt that Disc is the best healer (even after the nerf), but the only thing a MV does better than my restoration druid is healing and stun/cc. I've got better survivability, better mobility, much higher damage (+ better pressure) and all around a better toolkit.

When it comes to group fights, Restoration has the highest damage of any healer in the 39 bracket.

We might have different criteria when it comes to rating the different classes/builds. I rate based on all around performance in a battleground and highest chance to carry/make a difference.

I would love at some point to play with one of these god tier MV's, because I haven't seen a single one so far.
I think its a difference between rating based on wargames and rating based on pugstomping.

I dont even like solo queing on my fury warrior when I can solo que on my resto druid. You're right, it just feels like it contributes better to the team, does absurd damage for a healer, pumps out decent enough heals, cant be pinned out without a coordinated effort, etc etc etc. Even pugmades with the guild, Id prefer to be on my druid. I can, for lack of a better word, "carry" levelers on my resto druid.

But in a wargames situation? There's just better healers. You cant really afford to give up a spot on a wargames team to a "jack of all trades, master of none" which keeps resto from being top of the heap.

I think the true measure of a class's effectiveness has to be twink vs. twink play, rolling over pubs creates a skewed picture.

Resto druid doesn't have the highest meaningful damage. It's kind of like warlock, you can top the BG charts by spreading rot but you aren't securing kills or creating pressure commensurate with your total damage. For example, a boomkin that does 120k damage and a warlock that does 120k damage in a bg are going to have very different effects on the outcome of the game. While the warlock pads charts, the boomkin is wiping kids off of the face of the earth. In a team fight I'd much rather have a resto shaman that can land a shear and two crit lava bursts or a disc priest that connects with a schism>penance>smite than a resto druid spreading dots. The bracket is ruled by burst damage, cc rolls out and you connect with unhealable/unmitigatable damage on one target and it drops like a sack of bricks. Against good, well coordinated players my healing targets die in between penance ticks.

It's not that I think resto is bad, I just can't envision bringing it over a MW, resto shaman, or disc priest for anything but FCing.

A well played MW can do a ton of damage. Their burst is really nice too for taking down a single low hp target.

surv hunter is S+ tier
Disagree, surv feels like a fury warrior with less damage.

surv hunter does slightly less single target dmg than a fury warrior but can dmg from long range and has the 3rd best rot in the bracket behind spriest and boomkin, has a 5s stun, speed boost, 7s trap, a gap closer that roots, a shield wall, feign death and a disengage. it's not even close

You’re right about surv having more utility than fury. I disagree with “slightly”. Fury does significantly more single target damage.

MY shadow now does 400+ dps played solo, disc has highest pressure in game atm because after shields WE HAVE TO damage TO heal = others healed allowed to pressure, its like a renew before AND after our shield breaks that is spammable right after shadow or disc, as shadow has vampric embrace that can heal for 106% our dmg down to our team, 2 = 212% healing from dps NO SHIELD NEEDED....Just a perk. :)

If you gear a enhancement correctly is it really viable? or do you just die to the real classes?

I wasn't really a fan of enh at this level when I tried it. The damage kit felt really incomplete without stormbringer. My gear definitely could have been better though.
