EU+US Leystone Lockboxes

I have a 101 lvl twink, and I am looking for relics for my weapon.

Do I need to open the leystone lockboxes on my lvl 101 twink, or on a 110 lvl character?

Doesn't' matter, Players have gotten them from both Character Levels.

Any proof they can still drop from lockboxes? I believe they do not.

There's no proof that they do, and there's no proof that they don't. What there IS proof of, is that the massive number of 110's that were farming Sentinax, Broken Shore and other areas of Legion died out sharply at roughly the same time we stopped seeing the 810 Relics being listed on AH's. Many of those 110's are now back doing ToS and I can say as fact that the BoE's have sharply increased on the AH's in recent days.

However, almost nobody is doing the Broken Shore atm which is evident by how long it's taking the Nether Disruptor to be built. Even though the Lockboxes can in fact come from any source in Legion, we saw the highest volume of them when so many 110's were farming the Broken Shore. Take that for what it is.

Well, my main is a 101 balance druid, so need relics for him

But so far, I have opened around 500-600 boxes on him, and all i got is 682 relics... So I really starting to wonder if its a hopeless game im playing..?

Well, the boxes which used to 100% give me epic boe, suddenly stopped midway through 7.2. You could identify which boxes contained them with the /dump command. I also am actively scanning my AH and there have been no new epic BoE like the one's that were previously being looted from the lockboxes. So that leads me to believe the lockboxes have been nerfed in some way. Coupled with the fact the supply of 810 relics have been reducing within the EU auction house. As of June 14th there were only 6 listed in the EU. Of course I could be wrong, but as I said before, my belief is that they are no longer obtainable. I'm not here for any drama. I hope all opinions are welcome on this forum. I personally would be very happy to see proof that they are still obtainable so I can go back to my mission of getting relics for my druid.

@Chawi You may indeed be correct as Blizz is infamous for stealth Nerfs that even most of their Company isn't aware happened. However, without confirmation from a Blue (that we may never get) I'm still going to remain hopeful that it was nothing more than a complete lack of high iLvL 110's farming Broken Shore for hours/day because they were bored waiting for 7.2.5 and ToS to go Live, thus vastly reducing the volume of Lockboxes available for that ~1% chance of an 810 Relic.
