EU+US Helpful legion Tricks, buffs, nerfs and other things we can find that effects 70s in legion

it doesn't work at all in instanced pvp. at 70 you cannot break the ilvl ceiling for there to be any change in stats. and even double lightning would only be BIS for tank in PvE
Now what makes this trinket helpful is that it gives bonus damage inside arenas and Bgs. the exact difference is not insane, but it is a bonus which is what twinking is all about. Also increases agility in arenas and bgs by 12 which is pretyy substancial.
My weapon damage is 532-533 without the trinket equipped as shown. Also 340 agility:
Guess I was under the impression that the increased weapon damage, if in instanced PvP, would push this into BiS for the minor damage bonus.

They only nerfed the Primal Leg Reinforcement kit and not the buff already placed on a pair of pants? I'm trying to figure out why mine gives 15/9 instead of the 12/6 that the tooltip is telling me. It gets increased to 18/11 when I'm inside a battleground.
15agil 9 stamina was the old enchant, it was nerfed to 12 agil 6 crit in legion. it says 18/11 in arenas bgs and on bnet because it still scales up, but you dont recieve enchants or gem bonuses in said instanced PVP.
There are quite a few DPS specs that prefer double lightning over lightning+on-use/proc
i didnt say that because it was irrelevent to the question, was just using a small bit of info to compare for them

and no, ilvl does literally nothing for instanced pvp like i said earlier. its odd that certain pieces of gear actually buff your stats but there is no correlation to ilvl

Does that make the 15 agility / 9 critical grandfathered? And is there a better option?

Thank you for your answer.

Okay, gotcha! I was a little confused here as I thought you were talking about the weapon damage bonus, not ilvl right away. >_<
Def going to rock this or the chain, probably the chain as I've got a couple days before I hit revered with Orgrila.
Curious to find out if these gauntlets work in instanced pvp, and if they do I'm even more curious to find out if they stack with chain.
Will have to check it out on my DK.

technically it does, and no there is not a better option.

none of them stack i have tried them all and the effect does not stack. now the wierdest part that is still super confusing to me is that i went gnome and now the trinket does nothing for me o_O

What I'm mainly getting from this thread is: tooltips work...or maybe they don't, inside or outside instances stats may be changed, or maybe they won't. Random gear may be a boost other than ilvl, or it may not. Could be a "bug" or maybe it's intended, except Blizz won't say. Might work for one spec but not another. (?) Etc.

"this bonus continues even after the trinket is removed, but only outside of instanced pvp can the trinket be removed in order to keep the bonus for future ques. Also, in order to recieve the bonus it must be equipped before entering the arena or bg; and cannot be tampered with inside of instanced group or it will be removed. ..."

Really? lol OK let's try this experiment with about 537 other items now on say, 14 different specs...

This stuff is so inconsistent and f.ucked up idk how anyone can take Blizz seriously anymore. ffs

i shared my experience, and that is one of the only items that seem to boost my shown stats in instanced pvp. it was always the case every time i did it. When i changed races... it stopped working, so yes this makes no sense, i was just sharing what i saw was buffing my stats

Wasn't saying you're wrong or making it up. Just seems like Blizz is trolling us - whether it's intentional or not.
