Not much. Never more than casually. I didn't really get into MMOs til WoW D: I played a bit of that and Asherons/AC2, but was more into FPS.
With modern processors and graphics cards, it's a mess. Worse now, I bet. I tried it again back in 2014ish.
Yep. Significantly less activity than EQ. EQ has more content come out for it, and fresh progression servers at least.
EQII has also aged like milk, and the worst part is it's horribly optimized. Running on modern computers, its awful. Been that way for years
Not just that, but also near the release of EQ II, which I'm sure many faithfuls went to try.
Guess not, for some reason I thought it hit just under or over 1m. It was just over 550,000 in 2004 at it's peak.
Looking forward to Project Gorgon a lot. Very EQ like.
For other MMos, besides the mentioned ones..I quite enjoy Mabinogi and Maplestory 2.
Yep. Same with UO. and Tibia. Unfortunately, Asheron's is gone these days. :c
Either way, it's still impressive at around 2m for a 15 year old game that's pay to play. I mean, EQ peaked at about 1m.
I'd be surprised if they did , tbh. I'd say based on the active US/EU users being over 3.5 mil in March, it's probably around 4-6.
Highly, highly unlikely. I'd find it hard to believe it got below even 3 million at it's lowest. China alone consistently stays over 1m.
