The new meta will just move to lvl 70-79 (as opposed to 60). 80 if you have an account without Midnight to avoid leveling.

My lvl 60 with TW raid gear (in sig) completely curbstomps. It's kinda like a lvl 10 twink but with more ability variety and more reuired attention to CDs/taskbar. But I suspect it won't make it to next Xpac. Stat and/or ilvl squish inc. I'll have to reroll. Just a few months of enjoyment left...
