Hey what's up. So I've been crazy busy IRL but I've been stoked for legion (Ashbringer...) I had beta invite for a few months yet wanted to hold off on spoilers until live. I stayed clear of all beta / ptr coverage.
Logged on today, checked out my rogue and decided to try this new spec a try once I disabled my add ons which was bringing me to about 2 fps.
It plays so much like rogues back pre cata were played. It may not be the best and sure there's things I'm not aware of yet, but zoning into a game instantly with it being 10-19 (as they merged exp on with exp off again *cough cough*) and OMG! Especially how I was rocking LFH with Talbar Mantle... Like let's get real.
Playing a rogue who did more damage out of stealth than on opener was a massive throwback as I've never been too fond of the whole ambush for kbs play style. Especially being aware of turning and movement once again.
I noticed another rogue was using some nifty shadowstep tricks that I had a lot of fun using back in Cata and I noticed they had crippling poisons. It seemed interesting but I simply cut absolutely everything up to shreds as outlaw and only found a challenge when I was taking on 3-4 other toons solo.
Played so much like rogues used to play back in the day and was absolutely great to see such a surprise.
