My comment was aimed at the suggestion that staff members used their positions to gather IPs, which they would not be able to do in the week leading up to the cup.

Why are people talking about ddos'ing like its a black hat thing.

Most require a lot of 'hacking' skill to accomplish. Its a kid's game.

Isn't hard to have your ISP change your IP here, just need to convince them that there's a legit threat to your current IP. With all the DDoSing here, that wasn't particularly hard :)

The VPN was the most pricey thing, but eh, what ever. People had fun.
