For people who pay close attention to ptr it is not a secret that with upcoming prepatch (speculated to be on 19 of july) there is going to be two major changes to tmog in our bracket.
- Mail to plate change
- Being able to tmog only one type of items.
Those changes effect Warriors, Paladins and Hunters most due to the fact that they rely on current tmogs they are not going to be able tmog next month.
To keep it short here is few things you should pay close attention to if you wish to keep your tmog in legion.
It all depends on how many tmog sets you have and what do you wish to use.
You will need to change wrist, waist, hands, feet and probably legs if you want to be secure. And considering green drops are random it will not make it easier to get in time.

http://legion.wowhead.com/item=2166/foremans-leggings

Are still mail type in legion and will not drop tmog, but it all depends on whether or not you ok with rolling with agility on pally/war in dungeons and world pvp.
If you like to have Robes tmoged - do it nao.
Considering bag space limitation and amount of tmogs out there all i can wish you is a good luck.
If you reading about this for first time here now and you have some items to farm - start yesterday. Stockades is the way to go.
Ofc there are no total 100% safe options in internet based game but hope this may help some.
Ask away if you got any questions regarding this topic, but overall it is a clusterfuck.

- Although hunters are less effected by this issue if you currently rocking all tmog sets you wish to have, there are still an issue of reliability on some items. Not so far ago there has been an issue where items from dungeon bags (Belt & Cape) randomly droped tmog they had, up on login in to that character. As such trusting 100% on belt item which can one day bug out again is not a great thing. To ensure safety - tmog a backup on green belt with decent stats.
- With paladins and warriors it is not all that simple. Currently most bis Bind on Picking (dungen boss drops) strength items are going to change to plate thus droping tmog look. As mail is not main type of armor for pallys & wars, this will make you lose your tmog prob for the rest of your warcraft life and forcing you to equip actual itmes like any other random pleb in order to keep its look.
In order to counter this very unpleasant possibility you should tmog everything to green items with decent stats which will fit your specs. As there is not alot mail items with stam/intellect and almost none with stam/strength within a month, you safest bet would be dungeon drop green items with Random Enchantment Suffix " of the Bear ", " of the Gorilla ", "of the Eagle " and possibly " of the Whale " as they probably will not change at all.
