PTR Forums for 7.0 are up and people are saying they are downloading the PTR update. Idk when the PTR will officially be up, but I hope to see some of you guys on there so we can see how our classes are doing. Im literally bouncing in my chair from excitement.

edit: Some threads on GD saying the PTR is actually up but I'd wait for blizz to give an official announcement on it.

It's up but it's not legion it's pre patch but all the character updates have been in putted
 
my PTR wasn't even installed so now im sitting here with a 35gbs to go through. :(

Its working somewhat. Not able to copy any characters atm tho, sadly. Theres a LOT of bugs in the PTR atm tho.

I hope someone makes a PTR info thread once people realize it's up now. Can't copy yet, but just messing around on a fresh toon right now.
 
Forgive me for the noob question, but can anyone get access to the PTR? Is it different to the Beta Access that some of the others have obtained?

And last question, do you need to download a full version of WOW again?

Sorry for the seemingly silly questions but I've never really participated before on a PTR or Alpha / Beta access but would love to give it a crack this time round :D

1. Yes, anyone. You dont even need to have active subscription at the moment.
2. Yes, you need to download all 36GBs

Long time before that happens first week blizz will be working on bugs and stuff then all of us can get down to work on ptr and we will be needing a lot of people to do war games to test gear and classes atm ptr is not working for me but it did earlier

It took me 0.345 seconds to google and find "Note: World of Warcraft PTR realms are only available to players who have a World of Warcraft account with active game time."

That's not correct as long as you payed for wow once you are allowed to play, I my self do not have a active game time and I still play ptr you just needed to pay for wow once on that account
 
This is the most broken PTR I've ever seen lol. Classes are completely broken, flight animations are wacky, etc. They've had how long to work on this? Because imo, this seems like something that would come out of a first build. And we're close to the next patch. Blizz be slacking. I know its a ptr and there would be server problems, but the core gameplay is all kinds of screwed up.
 
Im on it and interested in testing wargames at 20 -
currently leveling a mage on ptr
 
A little treat for those of you who may plan on playing Survival Hunter, there is a new Polearm heirloom. unsure if it's only sold at the vendor for gold, or if it shows up at the DMF as well.
