GoT: Season 6 Episode 6 *spoilers*

What did you guys think?

Honestly the return of Ben Stark didn't surprise me all that much because of the speculation I'd already digested from reading the books (things happened in a much different order!!!!) but I thought it was cool, i'm not one to be bothered by deviation of plots. Overall the episode wasn't bad I think but it felt as bit underwhelming. I'm psyched to see what happens with Arya next, will she go back to westeros and cross some more names off her list (maybe add some more?) find her way to Daenerys? I doubt she is going to die but oh my god that would probably ruin my weekend, she's one of my favorite characters (in the books as well) and yet the faceless men supposedly never miss a kill.

There is already a bit of a STARK reunion going on tho, on both sides of the wall even, so maybe Arya will find her way into that some how. I'd really like to see her put something pointy through Ramsey's heart.

Daenerys speech was cool, maybe I'm just being a critic but I sort of felt everything she said went without saying, and that it was a little bit of a filler, but that could just be me.

I thought it was a super good episode that advanced so many plot points, it's hard to keep track of all the stuff going down.

But, MFW there was no walk of atonement for Margaery:

All I have to say is, if it's THAT fuckin easy to control a dragon, why didn't she do that in the first place -.-

Couple other plot points that I think were lazy, but all in all, good episode. Less action than the first five, but I think they hella set up for the last few :)
I guess she had to learn to control it, and form a bond with it.

I was literaly shouting wtf when Benjen unveiled himself... I havn't read all the books, still missing the last one, but his dissapperance plays a huge role in the books, so it was great to see him alive :3

Also it would be cool to see Arya go to Westeros and meet up with Jon and Sansa and fight the Lanmisters + Freys at Riverrun, but I'm leaning more towards this theory, that @Shamatix shared:

"Lady Crane (Aryas target) is also a FM, and the entire assassination exercise is the last leg of training to join the FM (Faceless Men) full time.

But the kicker is that most likely, only one of either Arya or the Waif who is also under training will end up joining the ranks of the FM.
And here is the reason to think so:
Lady Crane makes several very FM-ish references throught her conversation with Arya, for example she asks her if she likes wearing many faces along with "What is your name" etc etc.
Also why would she notice Arya in the crowd unless, of course, she knows who she is looking for already?

I think Jaqen is testing both Arya and the Waif by telling Arya to kill Lady Crane. The Faceless Men seem to be a cult who bring death only to those who deserve it - they act as a balancing force preventing evil from taking over the realms of men.
This is borne out by the history of the FM - in freeing slaves and killing slavers, as well as the background that Jaqen gives her for the hit on the banker in S05 - "Does such a man not deserve to die?".
The FM, therefore, need to be very discerning about who they eliminate; it cannot be that they will kill just about anyone for the money.

I think Jaqen's telling Arya that it is not for her to decide who should die and who should not is basically testing her to see if she can separate orders from the morality of dealing death. Therefore, whilst the contract has been given, the real task that she must accomplish is show the FM that she is not going to merely follow orders, but use her own judgment in figuring out who deserves the gift of the many faced god.

Arya initially expresses reservations about killing the actress, since she cannot see why she deserves to die. To make the decision even more difficult for Arya, Lady Crane is portraying Queen Cersei - the name second on Arya's death list (after the late Sir Meryn Trant). However, Arya does eventually come good and decide that Lady Crane is going to say 'Not today' to the many faced god.

And this is where the Waif comes in:
the Waif has also demonstrated several times that she seems to have a sort of personal enmity with Arya - something Jaqen has also noticed. However, despite all her superiority in other junior FM-ish tasks (beating the crap out of other junior interns, head washer of creepy dead bodies, etc.) this is a big no-no for an aspiring FM: if you are no one, you cannot have enemies / friends; everyone is no one to someone who is truly no one.

Jaqen perceives that Arya is likely to bail on her mission to off Lady Crane (thus succeeding in the actual test that is given to her); however, he wishes to test the Waif as well to see if she can overcome her personal anti-Arya agenda. Which is why he tells the Waif to go after Arya if she fails - if the Waif relents and does not kill Arya, both gain entry. However, if Arya kills the Waif in self defence, Arya proves her martial skills to be the best among the lot, and will become the next generation's Jaqen and gets rid of an unworthy FM intern. Either way, Jaqen gets a cool new FM member."

I think this theory is insane and makes a lot of sense consideing the Waifs hatred towards Arya and Lady Cranes behaviour around Arya.

The sickest plot, imo, would be if you combine the two; Arye becomes a FM through the above theory, and after that, is send to Westeros to kill Walter Frey (or whoever), and is thus rejoined with Sansa and Jon
