FYI, illusions on Staff > Shield changes do not work. Once you mail the staff to alliance, the illusion is gone.

But you WILL see the enchant on your shield before you unsheathe it. Spirit of Conquest looks pretty dope.

As a f2P you actually may be able to get away with obtaining these from your mail box. Way back before heirlooms and achievements were battlenet account bound, I mailed a heirloom hammer to my F2P account druid. i then logged onto her and opened a ticket (either on her or another toon) and gave her name and stated there was items stuck in her mail box =). Make sure you log out for a while so GM can't speak to you. When I loged back in I had a message saying that the items had been moved to my bags and "have a Great day!" =). You may be able to try this. GL

Yeah you need game time in order to receive the items from your mailbox, unless you wanna try some GM tricking as suggested above the dates they are available between the 25th May and 1st August

Yeah would be interesting to find out. Though I'm guessing that it'll turn red in the slot like going from a dual wield spec to non dual wield spec and keeping something in your offhand.

Im assuming the shield will turn into a staff and it will turn red.

Just like when you change specs on a monk and can no longer dual weild and the off hand turns red.
