EU+US Does anyone know the BIS prot pally gear?

I can't find any good prot pally for level 29. The one in the guide tab isn't even using a shield and the highest rated prot pally in 2s has a level 19 shield on. Does anyone now what the BIS gear for a prot pally is or send me a armory link for one? Much appreciated

well, if you wanna use prot pala for damage, i suggest you do this: Stack Strength and ap, bonus armor also gives 1 ap per armor point. Then enchant cloak, neck and rings with multistrike for more crusader procs = more damage. here's my prot pal armory, i use versa cos its just a personal preference, i think multistrike is better for damage. maybe throw in some crit :p http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormscale/Samharrisirl/advanced

Is this all the BIS prot gear? Also why do you use that shield over the BoA one?

The advice given above is correct.

The only thing that I would like to add to this thread is that currently there are very few scenarios where Protection is on-par with Retribution. Protadins are one of my favorite specializations, but I have to face the reality that Retribution is currently just better in nearly every way.

In Legion, Protection (and all tanks for that matter) will have a reason to be played over the DPS alternative; namely, the inclusion of the tank PvP identity in low level PvP.

No weapon proc will proc off a multistrike so you will not get more crusaders, in addition as prot it's much more viable to use dancing steel or EF depending on arena / bg / comps for both. Dancing steel can proc off just heals which u can often find urself spamming. And prot vs ret dmg is actually nearly the same overall the only problem is ret gets 3x's more crusader procs and much more burst while prot gets the best silence at this bracket and less concentrated burst. They do take more dmg but the extra hp + armor can generally even that out to an extent. Unfortunately, they nerfed heals for prots pretty decently earlier on. The mana regen is of course way better but u have to spend more time healing to gain the same effect especially with no crusader

Stacking Bonus armor and versatility is extremely strong. It's basically double dipping as both stats behave very similarly. If I were to upgrade my linked trial account and level my toon to 29, a few items would definitely be on my wish-list.

every versatility enchant and bonus armor enchant.
earthbound gauntlets with strength/stam/dodge
every other piece would be just strength/stam without as much focus on just strength alone or strength/crit.

Also, BiS transmog on my pally :p

Dusted him off and ran a few pug BGs a few weeks back and was really surprised out how well he does.

my shield scales to 9 str, which is more than the boa.

haven't tried multistrike myself so you are probably right, I guess versa or crit is best then.

all of those bonus armor pieces aren't BiS, 1 bonus armor is just 1 ap, so a ring with 1 bonus armor isn't better than a ring with for example 5 strength. The weapon enchant might actually be really good tho.

I tested that enchant on my brew @ 19. It's not nearly as much ap as landslide and procs even less

1 bonus armor is 1attack power and 1 damage reduction.. ....with the weapon enchant requiring you to be below 60% hp, the dodge plays a bigger role than the strength.....Idk....I just like experimental builds instead of "this is how you make your character"

I feel it. But he is right low bonus armor pieces won't be viable.

I mean.....technically my pally isn't "viable" yet I still manage to ruin people's plans.....but then again some people don't know what to do when the pally is slowly wearing down their Hunter lol.
