So thanks to GG19 I now have a Shaman on Bleeding Hollow (thanks!). Still need a few things (Mindthrust Bracers, Sapphire Spellthread, Lucky Fishing Hat, and Arena Grand Master) but getting there. I had a few questions hopefully the community could help out with:

-Weapon enchants, whats everyones opinions? I'm surprised not to see Enchant Weapon - Mark of Warsong more

-Any other gear sets I should be getting?

-Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor how do you get it? Just the Black Market AH? Or can you still get into raids by going in after a high level toon?

-Does anyone do rep grinds here? I don't have a Main on this server yet but would love to exchange help later on (Timbermaw, etc.) if anyone is interested

-Can anyone craft Sapphire Spellthread on Darkspear or Thunderlord? Having a hard time finding a tailor.

-Any videos of Shamans at 19 I should watch?

-Any other constructive criticism or helpful tips would be appreciated

Glad to see you are making a 19 twink shaman, I will start by saying shaman isn't my main class so the information I will be giving might be slightly off. In regards to the weapon enchant I think I would be using Hearthsong / Spellpower, and you could also think about getting the BoA ring from your shipyard ^_^ I also think if it was me I would be rocking with 5 Int on shield over 5 spirit, besides from that it looks pretty good ^^

The Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor is only from BMAH, it's correct that you used to be able to farm it from SoO but you can't enter high level raids anylonger.

I will also be able to help you out with your Timbermaw Hold reputation free, if you want my assistance you can add me on (Shamatix#1550). I am from Denmark so our timezones will be a bit off, but should be possible to find some time where we both are available.

In regards to crafting Sapphire Spellthread, I think spamming trade chat and spam joining guilds will be your best bet. When you are in a guild you can open up a proffesion tab and see what all the guild members can craft :)

Personally I cant think of any shaman videos at the top of my head but I know @partygirl streams now and then on https://www.twitch.tv/partygirleu/profile

But ye just get into the gulch and experiment, get the feels on your class :)

The Dark Shaman set was only ever available for twinks through the Black Market Auction House. Siege of Orgrimmar was never open to characters under its assigned level requirement (unlike ICC for awhile).

Yes it was and so was ICC and plenty of other raids :p If I am bothered enough I can go through some of the old TI threads of people farming the set before the set was introduced on BMAH
 
It was an rng drop from the Dark Shaman bosses that randomly assigned itself to >level 90< shamans during MoP in all difficulties except LFR. Had I known the Legion xmog system was coming I would not have bought it, seeing how I got it on my main shaman while heroic(now called mythic) raiding in MoP. Also I said "unlike ICC" which means that low levels could enter it. Seeing how nearly every twink had Precious' Ribbon prior to the WoD pre-patch. ;)

You could enter as a low level and be part of a Dark Shamans kill.


Also you won't be able to transmog it in legion, as you won't be able to use it.

Weapon enchants : You want 1 mace with EF, 1 with Heartsong and one with Spellpower.
The spellpower is your daily driver and what you should be using the most, when you see your mana start going low (or are in a healing intense mid fight) you want to swap to heartsong, and EF is situational.

For gear sets you want an FC gear set, with mostly max stam, a set that's balanced without too much spirit (by balanced I mean with int/stam/haste (I don't rate crit at all) and a set with more spirit for premades / intense mid fights. I'm logged out in my premade set atm > http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/bleeding-hollow/Arto/advanced
I'm assuming you don't have Woodworking Gloves, try to get those at some point for your not so spirit set. Also a second argas if you ever faction change. Look also to pickup things like Uninsured Bracers, Stillwater's Signet and other Horde only items before you do faction change, if you chose to.

Dark Shaman is BMAH only atm, but you won't be able to use / transmogrify it in legion at 19.

Rep grinds idk ask around, but nothing you really need besides tabards comes with rep, like the furbolg medicine pouch isn't great as you'll ideally be wanting a shield.

None that I can think of, one day I'll make one xoxoxo (Before legion because rip shams in legion)

Purges and shears are important, don't neglect them, sometimes more so than healing depending on the situation. Dispelling is also important, if you ever see a rogue with a dot that isn't still getting them applied onto them, dispel them asap so they can restealth.
 
Arktonin gives some great advice!

A stamina set is great just don’t full out. I generally run with haste on neck, gladiator’s on shoulder, haste on cloak, stats on chest, stamina on wrists, glove reinforcements, haste on rings, speed on boots.

For rings, I usually use both heirlooms. We have several belt options too. The LFH is not necessarily BiS for casters any more either.

Shamans do not require AGM. They are best served by using the BM trinket coupled with Nature’s Guardian. You can create a macro with that and your neck for an “OH SH!T” button.

Thank you so much for the info! Anything helps even if it isn't your main. Don't have a 100 as this is my first touch of WoD but I will get on the BoAs asap. Still want my mount too haha. I think I'm going to take artonkn's advice and get all the different enchants, I'll do the same for the shield.

Ah that's a shame about Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor. Oh well though what can you do.

Perfect, that's what I wanted regaurding weapon enchants. I've always had a lot of gear set so this is kind of what I planned just limited gold atm but that will change. Seems a lot easier to farm now than it was.

I had planned on a FC set and already started getting some items such as Dawnblade. Are Woodworking Gloves still obtainable? I thought they were grandfathered. I don't plan on faction changing as of yet but maybe in the future. I have Uninsured Bracers, will need to work on Stillwater's Signet and some others. Item scaling is making it a bit more difficult to determine which items I need.

Most reputations aren't useful anymore with account wide achievements but I still like to have some unique pieces on my twinks.

Whats happening to Kor'kron Dark Shaman Armor in legion? Why won't it be usable anymore? Getting a level requirement with the new transmog system?

Okay, I wasn't sure to what extent to go with that so this is useful. Do speed enchant's stack with Ghost Wolf? Might it be better to go with enchants w/o speed for a FC set.

Will probably use Signet of the Third Fleet as soon as I get it. I mostly wanted Lucky Fishing Hat for a FC set otherwise I'll use my Heirlooms.

I havn't seen any shamans with that trinket but i like it, will definitely use haha

Woodworking Gloves are GF'd but BoE, you'll want Fine Leather Gloves for FC'ing though (scale to 4/6) WW are good for general use.

Dark Shaman set will require 90 in legion
