More moderation in this section

These are the instructions that I've given to the mods.

I'm going to ask that mods increase moderation in the 20s section only. Profanity itself isn't a reason to take action unless it's very excessive, and there should be more leniency towards insults that are directly related to WoW than towards more personal insults, ie "you're shit" vs "you're a retard" or "kill yourself".

People should be warned first and given infractions for each subsequent unprovoked insult until they get the infraction autoban. I'm going to trust you to use your own discretion, but err on the side of clemency. If two people are arguing with each other and it looks like they're equally guilty the argument should just be deleted. If it's a consistent behavior for both people they should both get infractions, if it's consistent for one but not the other then only the one should get an infraction.

I'd like the mods to still try to defer to reports rather than act entirely on their own initiative. If there's a thread that you want to delete but no one has reported it maybe it shouldn't be deleted.

any ban outside of the infraction autobans should be posted in the ban thread unless it's a ban on a new alternate account after that person's first alt has been banned.

What he stating here, folks, is that spirited WoW debates are fine. However, that anything other than that is not welcome in this section and should be taken somewhere else.
Now, that is not to say that other sections are "open game" for personal insults and such. It just means that this section is getting a little firmer grip on it before it gets too out of control.
