Noooooo!!!!!!!

Yes, it was UNBELIEVABLE how much coverage this was getting on the news yesterday evening. What people don't understand is two things. The testing processes that determine "cancer". "They" may have fed test subjects up to ten times their own body weight for years in the cancer causing chemical to get a result. And secondly, W.H.O. is a political body. Which means they can be bought. Their "investors" may not have any money invested in processed meat. They have it invested in "all natural" foods. And just like the women that listen to Oprah's book of the month club, sheeple will flock to wherever they are led. All without a single thought. Much like lemming walking off a cliff. /cheers
I believe them when they say that putting those, chemicals through our bodies for years can lead to a dramatic increase in some forms of cancer. It makes sense. What I don't get is the pushing it through the media so hard when this was already common knowledge. Don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but there must be an agenda at play.

No, the W.H.O. just deemed processed meats are as "dangerous" as cigarettes and asbestos when it comes to a cancer causing agent. Naturally, you would have known this if you had read the article I linked or had watched even a few minutes of news on Monday.

/cheers

Being placed in the same group as cigarettes and asbestos on that list does NOT mean that the agents are equally dangerous. The news was misreported and they even admit it in another article on the very same website.

Someone somewhere is making money off it. You can guarantee that.

Blablabla old news. If something has been acknowledged by the WHO that doesnt mean the info about this is new in any way. So why make a thread and scream noooooooo!!! about this when you should already know that its bad... Bacon gets smoked... not even talking about the calories and fat but that is something many of the US people ignore.

Kek..
Old as in it was determined the very same day I posted this thread in the General Talk section. And the very same day the in made WORLDWIDE news.
Sure, they have been diliberating it for quite some time. But the determination was never actually made.

Calories are many of the things that US has that EU people desire. Let's not make this another NA > EU thread.

Bullshit, I learned this at school back in the 90s. Countries do this all the time on its own and have organisations like WHO even. Old news.

Calories are many of the things that US has that EU people desire. Let's not make this another NA > EU thread.

By simply saying this you make it eu vs us thing you stupid and the comparison is very bad cause it differs per country and we all know how us makes their big mac cheaper then healty food and totally differs with the netherlands.

And again screw eu, I do think like a world citizen and after that as a dutch person so screw you with your eu vs us hate thing all the time.

So, you heard in the the 90's that the W.H.O. detemined processed meat got put in the same category as asbestos and tobacco. Even though this report was just released on Monday, October 28, 2015? What sort of time machine did you have in the 1990's. One would think you could have put it to better use.

You claim you don't want hate, but take every jab the US you can whilst never defending your own nation. Pitiful...
While I do not hate, I only show the love for my own country. Something some just can't understand and never will.
