It's Been A Fun Road ..

I've finally reached my peak with this bracket. I'm tired of the kids that run around, thinking they have everything figured out. Tired of the ungeared Brazilians, and mainly tired of the 29s .. I can turn this thread into a rant, but I won't. Just throwing my point across so people understand where I'm coming from. Those are my three reasons for saying goodbye. Birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. I'm gonna snag some game-time while I'm out since I'm too lazy to do so now. Then I'll be reuniting with the 19s bracket, where I first started twinking in general.

For those that know me and have played with me a lot, I'm gonna miss you guys the most! (You guys know who you are :p) I made a lot of memories since F2P launched. Some that I wish I could relive everyday .. I'll still be playing on my vets, but that's only for the premades/tournaments Burg, Lenny and others host for the community. Other then that, pugs are out of the equation. I'll still be playing pugs as of now till I renew. Once my account is renewed, that's when I'll be taking off. I'll eventually return once Legion launches, giving it a week as planned. If nothing has changed, then my decision of quitting is becoming permanent. I Just felt the initiative to create this thread to inform those who do know who I am and may wonder where I have taken off to in the near future.

Those who truly know me, know that I'm a very competitive person. This bracket just doesn't offer that to me what so ever. If it does, its a very rare occasion. Games are either facerolls, or get farmed. I'm just not about that. Especially after waiting 15+ minutes for a battleground to pop. I'd rather play with other individuals who have a concept of how the system works and know how to play their class, keeping the battleground competitive as possible. That's what sparks my interest and keeps things fun in my opinion. There's more that I would like to mention, but I'd like to keep this short, simple and summarized I guess you could say ^.^ Good luck to everyone who continue to fight against those who need advantages to win and those who continue to queue without gear. My heart goes out to you guys :) #RipF2PWoW

Sincerely yours,
Resto

Eh you wont find competition in other brackets, 19 one team is farmed all game after mid clash. And people call that competitive gameplay 39's pop 1-2 days a week. Solo q 20-29 i actually have very good games and feel like i need to do alot more to pull out the George W.

By far best decision one can make.
Try out Trove if ever feel need for some new.

I'm sure I would have some good games that aren't stressful if I rolled 29s as well. I refuse to give in and promote it though, thats my fault I guess .. I do have a 29 rogue, she just isn't geared fully :/ Playing 19s is better then queueing what the 20-29 offers .. Just my opinion.

I don't have any problems on my 20s

The bracket is amazing so not sure what you're talking about. Que times are decent 6pm-2am est and the games are pretty competitive. Peace out Girl Scout.

19's does consist of GY containment mainly horde but given the good players are on you can get into some really engaging games. 19's are far more fun then 20-29's, your reasons say it all. Hope to see you in 19's

Calling farming containing doesn't justify it

yeah i'm not a big fan of 19s, can only que at certain times

I'm honestly into our bracket's concept, I like getting a challange against FoTm 29s and such but then you got the stupidity of jajas and new commers (expect it its a trial account, for testing newbies) and so I love smashing these clueless idiots, i'm not here to lie, I like my fair share of competitiveness and power. Facing plebs is fun, facing 29s fotm is fun when overcome, facing balance is extremely uncalled for and is always arbitrary, you will have more fun after that bg

If you want to play a competitive bracket go to endgame, go to endgame and prove your skill, and ques are poppin
sameshit as 19s, just more skill with different abilities, this is what makes our 20-29 bracket unique, its unbalance

Good games are on the rise...New EQ, Black Desert, Shroud of The Avatar, etc.

All the best dude. I hope you find a bracket that interests and suits you.

I've recently quit end game, having played end game arena and bg's for 5 years. Don't get me wrong, I really love end game arena and bg's, and I got really good on my Huntard, but for some reason this WoD X-Pac sort of bored me PvP wise. I geared up in the 1st season, and I feel like with all the CC that was taken out, and as per usual, some unkillable healer classes, it all got a bit blah blah.........

I'm actually enjoying the 20 - 29 bracket myself. I like the simplicity of it, and that even the arena skirmishes don't last too long. In the old days, i would sometimes have 45 min arena draws. Man your hands would be shot from all the twitching and focusing in a match like that, but you didn't want to give it up becuase you were after rating. Those were the days.......

But for now, I'm enjoying the 20 - 29 bracket.

Wish you all the best as you look for a bracket that suits, at the end of the day, it's all about having fun, and I hope you can find that fun in some bracket :)

I am actually starting to see more and more skilled players in battlegrounds which makes me smile I never thought it was going to happen. I feel both factions need quite a few more dedicated healers and FCs though, it seems only a few are willing to strut their stuff anymore, many would rather prefer the easier route of dps.

I also played 100 pvp for a short while and I must say the lack of skilled players in pugs is even worse and then when you actually have competitive matches, the fights can be so long, which is why I, just like many others prefer the simplicity our bracket holds.
